No plans laid yet but i'm debating re-firing up the blog and wow and see what entertainment I can produce. I know i won't get much love from old followers but maybe ill enjoy myself which is what this blog was meant for.

After the Cataclysm"an update to my life"

So since my last post in October allot has changed for me and my family. We moved in with my parents in October and lived there until Dec 21st. During this time with my mom we also got another family pet. A wonderful girl golden retriever puppy. Here is a picture of Abby chasing my son Jude as he rides on his tractor. This was the day we got her.

During this time we were also in the process of buying a house. It was stressful. We lost our first bid and won our second. As the story goes i got a 90k house for around 58k it came with a new heat and air system and stove. We did some work and installed a lamanant wood floor that looks incredable. Especially with the whole house being repainted it feels like a whole new home.

I also got a new job in IT. My company deals with various police departments doing in car camera systems, laptop docks, and matienance. I learn something new every day. Whats even better is they gave me a free phone which is an awesome perk. So the long and short of my life for the last bit was Hectic Crazy, and Rewarding. Heres some pictures i hope you guys enjoy.

Prior to 4.0 i created around 20 of every glyph i knew. On the eve of the 4.0 patch i posted around 2200 glyphs for 65g a pop. The next day was a black out no wow and major issues patching. The next 2 days was a struggle to keep sanity as i missed the major part of glyphmas but there was still gold to be made. Finally on thursday night i logged in my cousin was kind enough to check my mail for me. I had made around 30k in the initial rush. For the next couple of days i posted 3 times a day using the new zero auctions to post. After all was said and done my stock of glyph is almost gone i have made rougly 80k gold off of my endevor. Im glad i praticipated in glyphmas but with the changes to 4.0 i have no desire to play wow. I have loss my cravings for wow and without the want to play i let my account go dormant. SO where does this leave my blog.

Well it leaves it open for business while wow was why i originally started my blog i have decided that I can keep writing about my life beliefes etc on it. So this is a warning to my readers expect non-wow topics. Expect controversial topics at times but i am going to try and balance what i blog about. If you stay my readers great if everyone flees thats fine to. THe best part of my blog is the ability to get my thoughts out in writing which allows me to clearly state my oppinon beliefes etc. Well thats all for now I hope my readers are enjoying 4.0 more than i did it killed wow for me even though my intrest in wow was already waning .

Today is the twenty fifth anniversary Back to the future which is one of my favorite movies. I'm bummed out i don't have an AMC movie chain nearby because they are re-leasing the movie for a two night run. I never saw the movie in theatre and wish i could. Well have a happy back to the future day hope you enjoy reminiscing about a great movie.

A book series to read.

While I'm still in a transition phase with wow and still have stock of glyphs I'm going to take a moment to recommend a great fantasy novel series. The series is called the Wheel of Time, the first novel in this series is the Eye of the World. I suggest anyone that enjoys reading fantasy novels check this book out and see if it interest you.

Now for a story on how i fell into the WOT series. Ever since a young age i was an avid reader around 11 I really began reading these jedi apprentice books that averaged around 150 pages. As my reading skills got better i was able to finish these in one sitting of a few hours. After reaching this level i began exploring different novels to read. I read thrillers, horror, fantasy pretty much every genre. By seventh grade fantasy had become my favorite genre. I had read all of the lord of the rings and was on the hunt for something that would last. What i meant by this is that 400-600 page books didn't last long for me i generally finished them in about 3-4 days. So the search was on for a what I called in my head "A big ass fantasy book" honestly when I went into the bookstore that day I wasn't sure I was going to purchase anything. I came across a cardboard display that held i believe it was 10 books from one series the WOT. I picked up the first one and the first thing i did was flip to the last page it totaled around 1000 pages. I read the back and decided id give it a shot. I purchased the book and started reading it while waiting on my mom to finish shopping. Ever since that day i was hooked on this series.

I have read the series in its entirety 2 1/2 times the entire series spans around 13 books currently with 2 more planned to finish it. With each reading I find new details or little things i didn't previously noted. One thing about the series i love is the complexity of it. There are many side plots and distractions which make the world feel real. Instead of being a straight main plot only there are plots about various characters and things going on simultaneously. But enough about the series if you have time and like fantasy i suggest reading it.

I enjoyed this post it was pretty much facts I already know. Let me tell you how marijuana is addictive. Its addictive in the same way as sex is addictive, the same way downing the lich king is addictive. Anything good is worth repeating over and over until your tired of it.

I posted my glyphs about 2200 10 of every type i had made for 65g a pop. How many sold IDK why because my damn wow didn't self update. I have tried 3 times to manually download patch but thats giving me trouble so what to do. Grumble and try again updates coming when i can get them to you.

An update to my plans for 4.0

With 4.0 looming on the horizon I am getting prepared to craft all the glyphs I can. Originally i wanted to craft around 20 of every glyph that i can make and i hope to still achieve this goal. However with life being busy and my wow time being non-exsistent i have decided that ill craft all the glyphs i can with my current ink stockpile. Ill then begin preparing for the release of 4.0 organizing and getting my toons ready to sell. I plan to sell out of glyphs asap. When i do my glyph machine will be closing down no more production. I plan to sell off my excess supplies of WOTLK materials and condense my gold to one toon. It will be my last hoorah at making gold. Im tired of the game and want to go out with a bang i hope to make 10-20k gold in sells and call my AH playing days over for now. It doesn';t hold my interest like it once did and with the lack of need for gold i have no desire to continue making gold. Wow life has been non exsistent for me i have pretty much grown tired of the game in its current form.

So what have i been doing with my time ? well pretty much alienating my readers oh well. I have been working doing school and working 2 part time jobs. Going through the steps to purchase a house. I also rekindled my romance with Halo. I have been doing nothing but playing Halo: Reach when i have free time. I allows me to satisfy my gaming side and it doesn't hurt that I am better at it than i ma with COD games. So this is it my readers my 3rd to last gold related post. WHy because im tired of it and don't need the gold. I plan to do 2 more post one on the results of my 4.0 surge and one as a refresher post to show various methods i used to make gold. With the conclusion of my gold making career im not sure what ill do with my blog or free time. Maybe just ramble for several months until cataclyms comes and i find myself sucked into the world of warcraft once more.

Phone call last friday from part time boss.

Boss: Hey can you install win 7 and install a gobi driver on this PC?
Me: Sure thats no problem ive installed win-7 and updated drivers.
Boss: also make sure the gobi has verizon running and that all the hardware is properly installed.
Me: ok no problem i have done that before.
Boss: Oh and i forgot to mention this pc does't have a cd drive.
Me: !!! says something about using a usb stick to install 7.
Boss: Also i need you to install a map program and configure the internal GPS unit to the program.
Me: Nervously saying i think i can do that.
Boss:sounds good you have until monday to finish this.

Later on during friday.
Boss: heres the laptop and a USB stick. All the dvds are in the box.
Me: thanks ill get this done asap.
Boss: Hey how much do you think this laptop is worth?
Me: definatley more than 1000$.
Boss: yeh much higher around 4000$. So make sure nothing happens to it.

What i forgot to mention about this weekend was that it was my birthday weekend. That i was going to be busy most of the day saturday and sunday. I tried researching how to install Win 7 via usb stick, but it was to complicated for me to work out to meet my monday deadline. So i ended up calling my brother who luckily enough had a usb dvd drive i could use. Got win 7 installed and all bu the gobi file installed by saturday night. I finished up mid afternoon on sunday.

Im really enjoying the part time work im getting from this boss. Its rewarding and definatley sharpening my trouble shooting skills. In the few weeks that ive been getting side work from him i have dealt with PSU issues, viruses, repairing windows installations. Its been an adventure especially since I currently borrow my neighbors internet. Which makes updating deaktop units a huge chore but nothing i couln't work around. I just finished fixing the 5th laptop i was given to work on. I really enjoy this work the probelem solving gives me a great since of accomplishment. The best part is im finally building experience, the extra money doesn't hurt either.

Today my readers I'm going to share with you some lovely comments left by some of my anonymous commenter's. Whats great about these post is people come here to degrade my opinion but fail. Why do they fail because they don't seem to realize that most of their comments are un-educated and for the most part full of hate. i enjoy people having their own opinions in fact i love hearing a well thought out argument against what i believe. I have had my mind changed by arguments that make since and are well thought out. That's the beauty of humanity is we are a species with thousands of ideas and different opinions. The sad part of this beauty is you end up with people like one of my commenter's who does nothing but degrade me for my beliefs.

Ahh what a nice hate filled post. See this person starts with a fact no the declaration of Independence did not include sexual orientation. Nor did the constitution but what the declaration did was establish that everyman is created free and equal. With that in mind then by barring homosexuals from being married or serving openly in our military you have made a man un-equal. Gay rights is no different than the civil rights movement or woman rights movement it is a group of people working to become equal to their peers. I also think this posters beliefe is based on faith more so than facts the nice thing about our constitution is the seperation of church and state. Your allowed to follow your beliefs but laws should not be based on christian beliefs.

Then the poster makes a nice left hand turn into ignorance and slams his head straight into a wall of stupid. He argues that somehow being gay is equal to being a pedophile who preys on the young. You sir are wrong being gay doesn't make you morally bankrupt. You probably believe that if gays are allowed to marry then all hetero sexual marriages will end in divorce. I don't mind a good logical thought out reason for why gays shouldn't be married but this is not it. Even an argument based on faith is not good enough to make someone a second class citizen. I'm christian i don't hate gays i don't dislike them i honestly i don't criticize or try and state their going to hell for their sexual orientation. I let them make their choice i may mention the bible says its wrong but god gave us a free will to do what we want. However god also said treat others as you want to be treated and by making gays second class citizens you become a sinner no different than any other sinner in the eyes of god.

Slippery slope so you let gays marry then what? Where does the slope go I'm just wondering because to me there is no where else for it to go. By allowing gays to marry you give them equality which is all they want. As for gold making this post has nothing to do with it. I post about what i want on my blog if you haven't noticed titles changed there will still be wow related post just not as many.

I agree after much thought i don't care that i was dropped from his blog roll. Yes my post have veered away from being strictly wow related. I did care when i wrote that post but have since stopped worrying about it. As for grats on congress dropping a bill i think it shows the lack of spine many of our congress members have to make the right decision. They only make tough decisions when its not their ass on the line. Honestly i think we need term limits on senators . why because 50 years of the same senator stagnates our congress from being effective. The old order rules and no progress can be made for the country.

BTW I'm not a liberal but an independent i vote on who has the best ideas and who i think will help move our country in he best direction. Sometimes its democrats sometimes its republicans honestly I'm not to happy with either. Recently my alignment has been towards the liberal side why because what the right wants is not in my opinion whats best for our country as a whole. As for being a hippie i guess i do have hippie tendencies . As for the lack of gold post its because of the lack of need for gold or lack of playing wow.

So im currently to busy to play wow or make gold. Im in a good spot to begin crafting glyphs for 4.o it just seems that things are currently to busy in life to really play wow effectivley. with less than an hour to play daily the reward for playing is non-exsistent. So with that in mind i have generally been using my game time to begin sharpening my modern warfare 2 skills. Why am i doing this? well i can get in a round or 2 and the reward of pleasure and happiness seems to be more than i can currently get from wow.

So since im currently unable or unwilling to play wow theres not much to update on the gold front. However i would like to invite my readers to play MW2 on xbox live with me if they wish to. my gamer tag is bobreaze88 just send me a friend invite with a message stating your a blog reader. ill add you to friends and hopefully catch you online to play a few games. Imagine yourself in love with a person wanting to share your life with them. You want to make things official under the law but can't. You can't because people think you wanting to spend your life together some how harms their marriage or them. Or imagine you want to serve in the military so that you can get experience in life job skills and benefit from the GI bill. However if you do you can't tell your sexual orientation or you will be judged. Along with that you will be working in an environment that is hostile towards your sexual preference for no valid reason. This is a common problem for gay Americans they face prejudice from every angle when all they want is to be equal to non gay citizens.

To me this is a heart breaking situation. Personally i know a few gay people and have never had an issue with any of them. In fact they seem to be some of the most honest people you will meet. However it seems that Americans have this notion that gays are the root of evil. That by allowing them to marry or vocalize their orientation we degrade our country. How is a gay person being gay hurt our country though? if they all married tomorrow I'm sure it might help. Perhaps some would marry a spouse that has health insurance and they would be insured reducing the number of un-insured. Perhaps these gay couples would stop the trend of adopting foreign kids and begin helping raise the orphans of America. But wait gays can't raise children that would cause the world to end some would say. Well your wrong children need to be raised in a loving home be it gay parents or hetero reducing the number of orphans and un adopted children in America would only benefit us in the long run.

If your against gays being themselves and choosing a different lifestyle than you you are un American and judgemental. If you believe that being gay is a sin you are Christian. But if you believe being gay a sin you must also follow the bible which states to love all people like you love yourself regardless of their sins. I find that many Christians myself included forget the passage let those who are with out sin cast the first stone. We judge without wanting to be judged we don't accept or try to understand that which we find morally wrong. We live in a close minded country where we use our laws to dictate morality when in fact we shouldn't judge. All Homo sexual men and women want is to be an equal citizen like you and me. To not let their sexual orientation dictate what they can and can't do. I believe we should give them this because in a free country all men are created equally be it gay, straight, llama whatever.

Well updates where to start i guess with life. Me and my wife have gotten under contract to purchase a home. its 1500sq ft and just needs some love and care. Were getting a grant valued at 30499$ to use as a downpament and to cover closing cost. The price we offered on the home is 83500$. After having several episodes of drama things seem to be going well on this front total cost beig mortgaged is going to be around 50000$. Not bad for 3 bed rooms 2 bath home with vaulted living rom ceiligs etc. I'm also beging a new job part time until we close on the home after which ill begin fulltime. The job is IT related and looks like it will offer me a promising career. Its with a company where i can grow my IT skills evenly instead of just being a help desk technician or pigeon holed into one task. so yay me

Wow news theres not much because school has taken over. I want to play but between studying family and more work theres little time. I'm nervous about 4.0 making paladins lol ret again but things will work out im sure. Hunters seem to be promising and i may go ahead and farm BOA items to play one after the release of 4.0. Gold making is at a stand still but i am beginig to ammass some glyph stock that ill use upon 4.0s release assuming thats when the great glyph change happens. One funny thing is my son loves watching my pally ride his motorcycle around. Im using this as an ppurtunity to teach him how to move the character around. He likes it but being only 2 im not sure how long it will interest him.

On the MJ front depressing news. MJ arrest have risen 1.3% this year to 858,408 people. OF these arrest a whopping 88 percent (758,593 Americans) were charged with possession only. leaving only 99,815 other individuals that were charged with “sale/manufacture,” a category that includes virtually all cultivation offenses. This is the second highes total of arrest ever 2007 having the highest with 872,721 arrest. I guess this is americas freedom at work. Where individuals are arrested for pursuing happiness through the smoking of a plant that is arguably safer than americas other legal intoxicants.

Little Niche for scribes

As a scribe there are multiple ways to get rid of excess sknowfall ink. You can sell it raw, craft cards, runescrolls, and offhands. One of my favorite ways to get rid of excess snowfall is to craft 5 of each epic offhand. These sell for an average of 250g plus on my server. I make around 10 offhands at a time. I have them set up in QA3 to undercut by around 3 gold. I can normally sell 1-2 every few days sometimes more. Its a nice supplementary income that is low matienance.

Have you ever noticed when your blogs removed from someone Else's site? Well i just did i was once linked on Marckos site just my two copper. He was the reason i began making gold in the first place. I find it discerning to be removed from his blog roll. I guess i shouldn't complain most blog writers believe that Marcko is thing more than a sly business man. I however have no view other than his site is a great resource and i'm curious why my blog was removed from the list. Marcko if your reading this i wouldn't mind an answer you can drop it in the comments.

I guess i may have ran him off with my views on MJ, I wonder how many people i alienated for those post? I don't really care maybe they read it and learned something. Maybe it opened their mind to view the world in a different more free way. All i know is that when you have something on your mind that consumes it one way to alleviate this feeling is to write about it. MJ policy is one of those subjects for me.

The reason why im for changing our current MJ policy is because it was created by racism, lies, and propaganda. That the laws have been enforced unequally causing major harm to minority groups and young people. What little good is caused by the prohibiting the use of MJ(the safest drug available) is destroyed when you look at the harms of prohibition itself.

Prohibition has caused an increase in violence by drug dealers, cartels, gangs and given them a monopoly on distribution and production of MJ. It placed parents in jail and broken up families placed teens in jail. Prohibition has given police the ability to plant GPS on your car without a warrant. Prohibition has allowed police forces to use paramilitary forces to serve warrants entering homes by kicking down doors instead of knocking. Prohibition has allowed for swat to use tatics such as shoot dogs when serving warrants. Prohibition gave cops the power to steal property and sell it profit. Making MJ bust a great way to profit from the low hanging fruit. Prohibition has de regulated the sell of drugs allowing anyone even young teenagers 13-14 easy access to drugs through drug dealers.

The reason im for MJ policy change and only want legalization is because i know the current laws don't work. Prohibition of MJ has not ended use of MJ, Prohibition has not diminished the production or distribution of MJ. Prohibition has only cost us money destroyed lives and created criminals out of other wise law abiding people. People who just want to be taxed and accepted for their recreational drug of choice. A recreational drug that is safer than most pharmaceuticals, alcohol, or any other drug. A drug that was freely available since ancient times and used as medicine until 1913 when it was removed from the American Pharmacopoeia. A drug that grows naturally from a plant all it needs is tender loving care.

My first character to hit 60 back in wow classic was a paladin. I had the misconception 1-40 that i was going to DPS. Well that didn't work out because back in those times paladins were designed to heal. I was an odd ball until i finally grabbed some cloth and began healing. ZF was my first dungeon to heal I eventually healed all the classic dungeons. I raided ZG, MC, and Ony. one attempt at BWL and a few AQ20 attempts. Attaining an ok mix of purples including my coveted T2 helm( the best pally set ever). I concluded Wow classic a healer and began BC a mage.

I leveled 2 70s in BC a mage alliance, and then a horde warrior. I never managed to even take my mage to Kara during BC. Shortly after 70 i made full switch from alliance to horde leaving behind a server and friends to play with family. I then began leveling a undead warrior which btw was probably one of the hardest classes to level at the time besides priest which is what i tried first. I switched between fury, arms until around 65 when i went full protection. I raided mostly T4 raids eventually clearing ZA several times. My warrior was decked out in full t4 tank, and arms set i was managing to top my guilds ZA raids DMG charts whenever 3.0 came around.

In lich king my playing has been different than most other expansions. I had a kid and got married and grew up alot. I leveld my original pally (Jeri) from 62-75 before having to deactivate my account. I also leveled a druid from 65-80 gearing it up to around 5150 gs and have an average 4850 gs for 2 offspecs. I managed to kill a boss in every raid but ruby sancutm. I also began writing about my wow journeys and experiences making gold. I managed to make around 60k gold casually playing the AH and starting a mammoth glyph industry. Ive taken breaks but returned to wow for various reasons. However playing wow is like puting on my favorite shirt it fits just right. I play wow as a hobby its a place to meet newpeople and kill time. I used to be hardcore raider every night now i just raid once a month if that. Im a gold making machine when i set my mind to it. I can amass enough to buy whatever items i want. This is my wow history for anyone who cares.

Ret or Prot That is the question.

Currently my paladin is level 41 and specced ret. Which is good my attacks hit like a truck and i mow through mobs. However one of my readers suggested i tried prot. Well i may just do that i'm not sure to switch to prot i will have to level my 1h weapon skill but other than this there are no big hurdles. I have the shield from SM and the 1h tank sword from SM quest. The main reason i hesitate to change prot is that in pvp i may not be a killing machine. However i would be a usefull distraction and a possible flag carrier in PVP. I will probably just grab Duo spec and begin leveling wep. skill to try out prot. I know that as prot doing dungeons will become alot quicker to que which means less questing. However by having duo spec i can choose if i want a longer que time and quest or instant que and have no wait.

Im currently stockpiling ink. I have around 600 IOTS which is not nearly enough to begin crafting glyphs. I plan to continue buying northrend herbs in mass and hoarding my ink. This will have 2 effects the first is that ill be able to mass craft when i reach my desired ink level. The other is that i will drain my competition of their herb supplies. Which will send the prices of glyphs higher creating an ideal market for me to sell glyphs in whenever i reach my desired level of ink. Hopefully ill continue to craft around 500 IOTS a day reaching my desired storage point in 4 days. Once i reach 2k inks stored i plan to begin crafting 10 of every glyph. While i am crafting i will continue to syphon herbs off the market to keep my competition from supplying.

Gahh. this is my thoughts on leveling my pally right now. Im level 41 and enjoying leveling IE seeing places doing dungeons etc. There is one thing that irkes me about my paladin. The lack of attacks. Currently if im solo i can judge, hand of reck, excorcise, or concencrate if im in a dungeon or PVP cut out Hand of Reck. This means paladins currently have from level 20-50 4 or 3 damaging attacks. It makes for a realy repetitive leveling process. Thank god cataclysm is coming and new players won't have to endure this tedius grind. im really surprised blizzard didn't implement crusader strike at level 1 earlier seeing as the put victory rush at a low level for warriors.

Oh well im almost to crusader strike which will make me feel even stronger. Its nice to know that when i pvp at 59 at least ill have 3 instant attacks to try and bring someone to down. Currently its judge, excorsism, wait for CD. Which is frankly frustrating knowing that if i had one more button my chances of killing the person would be better. One good thing about PVP currently is that my Hog brings alot of envy, i like envy even if it makes me vain. The bad thing about PVP feeling like your the only one focusing on healers. People if your PVPing any level healer first then other classes or else you die. Its not hard kill priest, shaman, and druids that aren't in a form. If you dont that hunter thats kiting you will be healed and you will be dead.

On the gold front i sold some netherweave bags made 500g. Not bad just nothing interesting going on really. Currently purchasing herbs to begin milling when i have free time. Hoping to craft more glyphs so that i can slow post and make a little gold. Im still at 37k gold which is enough to bank roll anything i want. Ill probably be able to increase it even more whenever the patch 4.0 makes glyphs permanent. I plan to have around 20-40 of each glyph ready to sell prior to this patch. The reason for this stock pile is to take advantage of the short term buying frenzy and maximize profit.

I currently am working on a more full post to address the issues you raised however i have one that i can do with no research currently but through an examination of our national history. In your comment you state.

What I mean is that the use of MJ is a non violent offense it harms no one but the user ( possibly second hand smoke inhalation for people nearby further research needed). You bring in the fact that currently the channels of distribution are violent and criminal. well the reason for that is because currently MJ can not be legally manufactured, and sold in the US. This prohibition has created a black market for MJ similar to how Alcohol prohibition did for alcohol. Its a lucrative trade for criminals to sell things that people want ,but the government won't let be produced legally. However this violence and crime can be changed when the law is. A good example of this is the fact that there are no more Al Capones in the Alcohol industry any more are there? No once Alchol was re-legalized the violence that came from it being illegal evaporated. Was it over night probably not however eventually the violence did end. I will continue to work on addressing your other issues as I can.

With MJ being on the ballot in CA for legalization there is going to be opposition to this law. Some of the strongest opposition will come from parents of children. They will sling comments about how legalization sends a bad message to children or use the tried and true statement "what about the children?". While many drug law reformers such as my self laugh in the face of the comment. I think we need to stop laughing about it and start teaching these parents the facts. Here is a nice fact about teenage usage. According to a 2009 survey called Monitoring the Future, about 7 percent of 8th-graders, 16 percent of 10th-graders, and 21 percent of 12th-graders had used marijuana in the month before the survey. Not to mention another survey that stated most High School Students found it easier to get MJ in less than an hour than it was to get alcohol. Whats even more interesting is that these numbers could be low people don't generally like to self incriminate themselves even in anonymous surveys.

With these facts in mind can you say that our current MJ laws work? Sure we arrested 849k people for MJ last year that's got to make a difference right? Well it doesn't arresting/ fining non violent users doesn't reduce the use . Arresting a MJ dealer will get that one off the street so another one can take his place. The war on MJ is an un-winnable war that has not even gotten close to accomplishing its task of creating a MJ free world. The worst part to me though is parents who blindly say lets keep pot illegal because its bad for teenagers or morally wrong etc.

These people keep it so that teenagers have access to MJ. You know why teenagers have access to MJ? Its because drug dealers don't ID. If we made MJ legal and regulated it similar to alcohol and tobacco i can with out a doubt say that teenage MJ usage would decrease. It won't go away but it can be decreased by simply legalizing it and regulating it. As for moral arguments against the use of MJ i say keep morals out of the law. When society regulates morality it creates a crime out of nothing. There is more to be said about this subject but now is not the time or place.

Hopefully one parent will read this article and change their mind if so then i did what i wanted. Some may read it and say just another dumb stoner wanting weed to be in the super market. I really just want people to realize that current laws don't work and that they create a crime out of something that harms no one else but the user. To allow for the pursuit of happiness as long as that pursuit doesn't tread on the rights of others thats what i want.

I added polls to my blog today so that i can get an idea of how similar my views are to my readers. The first question i decided should be something controversial and non wow related. I did this because there are times where i want to use this blog for more than wow related subjects that interest me. So expect a few post about off-topic things. Mainly these topics will center on my other interest which is the movement to legalize MJ aka marijuana, cannabis, etc. While many people will disagree with my view on this subject i do plan to begin posting on it occasionally. it may just be links to other websites that interest me or it could be a full post on the subject just depends on my mood. If you do not agree with my view or wish to bash me for it go ahead and disagree however i ask you to use logic and refrain from name calling and personal attacks. Im just one voice with a few readers i don't plan to change any ones minds i just want to share my views with my readers.

So moving on and to help people who may not know what Prop.19 is ill give you a very very brief overview. Prop. 19 is a ballot initiative to legalize the adult recreational use of Marijuana in California. It was created by Richard Lee a marijuana legalization activist and medical marijuana provider based in Oakland. Its the first attempt since 1973 to legalize MJ for recreational purposes. The legal language of the bill dictates that an adult 21 or older Will be able to have in possession 1 ounce of MJ, they can grow a garden of 5x5 feet in order to grow their own MJ similar to home breweries. It also allows local county and city authorities to dictate how best to regulate and tax the sale of MJ similar to how alcohol is done (wet and dry counties and cities). The law states that MJ users can't smoke in front of children and places legal action against those that do. It also does not change the DUI laws meaning if your high and driving you can and will be arrested. This is just a basic overview of what the law does there is probably more but i need more time to write out a detailed post. So we can learn to pick ourselves up again. This is one of my favorite movie quotes its from Batman Begins which if you haven't seen it you should definitely take the time to rent it and enjoy one of the best batman movies ever made. This quote applies to what I'm dealing with in life currently. The bid we placed on the house was pretty much ignored by the seller who ended up working with a prior bid which i guess is good for the winners of the house. It sucks having to deal with our dreams burning up into ash. But part of living life is it doesn't end there will be more homes to look at and more dreams to create. Alas the search continues and the chances of finding a similar priced home with the same features are slim.

As for Wow news there is not much on the gold front i need to crank my glyph machine up and craft but I'm just not that into it at the moment. I have enough gold for now and i can always make more. I'm down to 43k after the purchase of my mechano hog and materials to level my engineering. The paladin is progressing nicely i reached 36 last night easing ever so slowly towards being able to ride the mechano-hog that is burning a hole in my bag. I also bought the enchant bracers +9 stamina from a guildie for 20g. If i don't already know it i may learn it so that i can begin selling this enchant come Cataclysm. People love to twink their toons to give them and advantage. I would love to be able to provide the advantage.

Future plans for wow when cataclysm drops i hope to have amassed enough BOA items to begin a goblin hunter with full BOA gear. I also hope to join a guild and gain access to the new BOA items before beginning to level my hunter. I'm doing this for two reasons one i love faster leveling nothing makes me happier than seeing the levels fly by. Also i have always loved the hunter class even leveled one to 40 before other classes and distractions got in the way. So with cataclysms release I plan to use my other characters to gain the new BOA items then change my main to a hunter why? Because i want to and its my 15$ . The plan for the hunter is to twink him to the gills meaning dual agility enchants on weapons, full enchants on gear making my hunter one deadly SOB. I already have my eye on taming a spider pet so that i can web people in place as they die. I also plan to use my hunter in PVP a lot and hopefully endgame instead of raiding ill try my hand at endgame PVP. Hopefully everything will work out like i envision.

RL strikes like a ninja

So RL has stealth attacked me like a ninja. I have started school again and I am learning the joys of chemistry again. I hated it in HS and still not much a of a fan for it during college. However its necessary to take it for my CS degree. The job market in my area is SHIT so even though i have a AAS in Computer network support there are not any entry level jobs. So i continue to work my way towards even higher education.

In other news me and my wife learned of a grant program that essentially gives you a huge 26,500 down payment for buying a foreclosed home. We learned of this short notice and began hunting vigorously. Luckily enough for us the first home we looked at was a perfect fit. It seems who ever foreclosed on it had been renovating it fresh paint, new flooring throughout, an bonus room out of an enclosed garage. the home is 2052 sq ft 3 br 2 bath. The offer is around 91900 which is 2k over asking to avoid a bid war with another offer. The home is probably valued at around 130k if it were not a foreclosure so re-sell will build a large amount of equity. The only stipulation with this type of loan is in order to not pay the grant back you must live in the home for 10 years which for our growing family i don't see needing to move for many years. . Hopefully life will work out the way it is supposed to.

As for wow my pally is level 33 and slowly smashing his way towards being able to use the mechano hog i have purchased for him. I'm using engineering on him to make squirrel pets they don't seem to sell very fast though. Hope for more stories and info later on just been to busy to share. BTW the blog isn't dead until i say so maybe long term hiatus for writers block, RL, etc but ill try and let you know whats going on more frequently now.

I logged on wow this morning thinking i was just going to post glyphs before work. However when i began my posting i was watching glyhps post. The average cost of glyphs on my server was around 3-7g for most with a few reaching 15-35g price range. Today i had 6 glyphs post at 79g my fall back and several more for 44g. I even had a majority of glyphs posted from 7-15g which is great for profits. My first thought is what could have caused this but after thinking about it i think i know.

The recent ban of farmers from wow has raised mat prices to a level where most glyph makers don't see the value in it. With most of the big guys moving on or not playing wow the supply of glyhps has dwindled raising the price they can be sold at. Ideally this will keep happening because with less people competing in glyphs herb prices should reduce do to lack of consumption. Allowing me to get cheaper herbs and fill a valuable niche providing glyphs to the server. Also less competition means glyph prices will probably rise without 4-6 big players undercutting glyph prices will slowly creep up.

In other news I've been draining the netherweave cloth off of the AH like a whore. Raising prices of cloth up to 20g a stack. I've done this for 2 reasons one is to reduce my competition's supply if they don't have cloth to make bags then there will be less competition. The other reason is to raise the price of bags from 10-15g to 20-25g. So far this has been working our great prices on bags moved from 10g up to around 15g average. I have only posted bags once and i did this when i had no competition. I have been so successful at hoarding the cloth that Ive almost managed to drain my competitions supplies. I believe after another week of this i may began to seriously make bags and see how things go. Or i may just keep hoarding until cataclysm when i know ill get a nice return on bags.

I have been on wow a little over a week and leveled my paladin in-game to level 21, I must say its more fun leveling the pally on Beta. I also began making some serious gold. Im up to around 49k gold but i made 3k gold in sales. It was easy to jumb back in the saddle. More updates to follow.

The addition of holy power to the paladin class makes us glorified rogues in plate. Building Holy Power (combo points) to unleash stronger attacks. I can't wait to test this because i believe its going to be fun but im also weary of it. I forsee nerfs if we become to powerful from this huge shift in mechanics.

With that said time for off topic stuff. Im on the second disk in FF7. I have almost finished re reading HP and the Half Blood Prince. Getting to visit family this weekend. My kitty scratched my face. It was an accident but it hurts.

Not playing wow haven't logged in since last week which was only for like 3 minutes. I'm currently registering for Community Collge so I can begin working on the basic requirements for a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. While doing this I have been waiting to find out if ill be able to get the user support job that recently opened up where I work. I also have been spending alot of time with my family and friends socializing holidays always cause this to happen so its ok.

I've also been playing my PSP recently, I only have 2 games for it which are FF7: crisis core and the original FF7 game. I beat Crisis core around a year ago and haven't really played the original FF7 until now. I have made it to the end of the first disk which is the farthest i have ever played this game. I plan to slowly play through with the help of my strategy guide and completley own the game beating all of the side quest etc. I have only done this with FF 8 and FF 10 adding 7 to this list would be a good acheivement.

Im sorry to all my followers that were reading me because I was making wow gold and writing about it. I just can't seem to find the passion for wow though. I plan to pop into beta as soon as the talent update arrives. It really has me interested I think it will be a good change for wow. Currently im sitting at 60k gold on wow and have materials to fill up my glyphs I just can't get into making gold. For the most part wow is on pause ill pick it up again I know just depends when.

My First Class in WoW( my wow history)

The first time i played WOW was at a friends house. He had been playing for a few months and let me start a toon just to try it out. A few hours into playing and i had a level 10 Pally. With BS and mining as my professions. This was when wow hooked me and i finally bought it. I must say I'm glad i never have to go through the torture of that first install again. It was terrible downloading 1 Gb of data through a 56k modem takes a few days. Around 4 days i think of 8 hours of D/L at night.

Finally i started my own account but instead of going to a pally i created a Mage. My cousin created a warrior at this time his first toon. We leveled together until around level 33 on the mage. I had a free day a week or so before hitting 30 on the mage and decided to see if i could PL a pally to 20 in 24 hours. I managed to reach level 20 in 20 hours play time this was pre-bc, pre-lichking leveling. It was a grind fest with lower xp the worst part about it was that I wanted my pally to be DPS. Which of course was laughable compared to mage and pure dps classes at the time. Eventually i caught up to my cousin and we quested and did dungeons all the way to 60. The only notable thing happening during this time was that at level 52 I decided to throw in my dps towel and begin healing. My cousin had begun tanking by this time, so getting groups sped up due to having the 2 most needed classes to do a 5 man. We arrived at 60 with allot more play time than it currently takes to get there.

This was when the dungeon crawl began pugging strat live and dead, scholomance. We also did 10 man dungeons UBRS, and the 20 man raid ZG. then we transitioned into doing pug MC, and ONY. He changed to melee dps for a short time while I became a pally leader. Reminding pallies to buff every 5 minutes was a pain. I saw ragnoras a few times never killed him, ONY however died enough times for me to finally win the roll for the T2 helm. Judgment was the best designed pally set IMO.

BC dropped and I stopped playing the pally, my cousin had begun a Lock and caught up to my mage so we began leveling to 70 together. We reached 70 but shortly after reaching it i began a druid which I leveled to 50 before switching from alliance to horde. My first horde toon was a priest that was abandoned at 32, priest are IMO the most boring leveling class. I then began a warrior named MSU that would become my main toon for BC, I got him geared in full t4 and a decent dps set before wrath dropped.

In Lich King I began a DK as my main char because they were OP and I enjoyed it. Shortly after LK dropped I began trying out bid low sell high. I made around 4k gold before quitting wow for around a year. When I came back TOC was released and ICC was just a few months away. When I came back i became serious about making gold the first 10k was mostly from bid low sell normal. After that i began integrating professions and raking in the gold. Now im currently at around 60k gold with a fully geared druid alchemist, a DK scribe, a enchanter and tailor. I have currently stopped making gold or worrying about it though.

The reason being as i began another pally with 3 pieces of BOA gear. He is a recking ball dps machine 250 crits at level 10 is OP. I believe I'm going to play him and enjoy leveling him through the old content pre cataclysm. I'M going to begin gathering more BOA pieces to level a goblin shaman in cataclysm. So now instead of logging on to check mail. I'm logging on to run quest in bloodelf area because I never completed all the areas quest lines. I have this toon enchanted with +100 mana to chest and crusader on the weapon. Having more mana makes leveling much easier. Hopefully i can post some pictures of my paladins journeys through the old world. Currently I'm level 16 I have to make it to level 60 by cataclysms release.

New interfaces (no spoilers just size)

I took a screen shot an blanked out the size of the talent calculator. I also blanked out the map so you can't know my location etc. I am flying in old world when it was taken. You'll notice the talent calculator has grown larger. Making the spell book larger allows for it to have a cleaner interface trust me you wont miss that old small spell book or talent interface.

I started a goblin this morning. Only a few quest into their starter zone happy to report so far know quest with get x number of items from this monster. Makes for a better experience not having to farm level 1 creatures for their foot that they clearly have when you kill them. The pet UI for hunters wasn't working at level one maybe its unlocked later level I'm not sure.

Cataclysm (making jaws drop since 2010)

So yesterday i finally got a moment to log into the alpha version of wow. I must say my jaw immediately dropped upon entering Orgrimar and seeing all the changes. I then pulled up the talent page to spec my druid again jaw dropped. It seems like I'm playing a new game with familiar elements. The UI is the same but its different. They have refined it creating new interfaces that are sleek and elegant. Then I Realized that I could fly in Org. up I flew. Until I could see the city although it was small from the height i was at. The changes were vast and interesting . Cataclysm is changing wow and I believe its for the better. The changes seem good although I haven't yet made it to the new zones or even killed an equal level monster as a boomkin. I can tell that cataclyms is only going to make me want to spend more time playing.

P.S. Goblins look cool in the character creation screen.

Also should i do more post like this being vague about the different changes? I'm not sure don't want to break the rules. May delete this post if it offends readers and wait until beta to give my impressions. Let me know what you think.

Possible new project. Gold Update. Ramblings.

I reached 61k gold today which is my highest total gold liquid. I have not been making gold like i was pre hacked account. I really can't get into it atm so i just post once a day. Then pickup my Auctions the next day. Im small competition but its ok ill take my 400g daily for a few minutes of posting afk. I am not undercutting like i used to which definatley was helping make more gold. I just don't seem to need it.

i have 4800 gs offspec gear sets enchanted ( boomkin, and tank) I have a 5159 gs MS healing. Theres not much gear that i can purchase from the AH or feel the need to. Im currently using this character to farm badges for a new Alt. Im sitting at around 15 badges shy of buying the plate PVE chest & shoulders and the 2h axe. I plan to enchant the weapon with crusader. Im going to create a twink ret pally to level since my old one Jeri is on a disabled account. I plan to PL engineering on this toon so that i can play with all the gadgets. I can't decide should i get dual mana trinkets from the BOA vendor? I think these would make the lower levels easier and eventually they would swap out to dps trinkets once the mana talents caught up.

The other idea is to create the character and give it the items. Then copy it to the Alpha test realm. I found i had accesss to it this morning it is currently patching so still unplayable. This would allow me to test drive the pally through the early levels of cataclysm. Where it would become even more OP with 2 instant attacks by level 20. Im thinking I could document the Alpha expereince 1-20 for you guys if anyone is interested. It would of course not be posted until after beta goes live because of the NDA. Either way shortly i may begin playing a pally full time just because im tired of 80 content.

400g Is all that i need to reach 60,000 gold liquid. I have around 1k IotS to make glyphs and vellums. I plan to make at least 8 of every glyph no matter price. I plan to have my glyphs spread among 3 toons to post. This will reduce the amount of glyphs posted by any one toon making the process of canceling and posting faster.

Using Bulk Mail 2 will make distributing crafted glyphs fast. IF you have not tried this addon out i can only urge you to do so. I craft near a mailbox so that when i fill up my bags the first time. I can mail the glyphs to the proper bank toon with just a few clicks. I mean mailing over 60 stacks of 8 glyphs in a matter of seconds. If your using multiple bankers and need mats sent to crafters this will speed the process up.

Not much going on in wow ATM I only post once a day so my income is down to low. Its OK though cause its allowing me to spend more time with family, and on getting my glyph machine more streamlined. Job hunting is also taking allot of time Trying to get my foot in the door is hard.

This is the first picture I have posted of me and my family. Were a small family of 3 with plans to eventually at least become a family of 4 or 5. I have black hair my wife has blond and my son has red. Not sure where the red hair comes from but the best we can figure is its recessive on both sides of the family. Me and my wife currently attend college and both work. She manages to do school and work in 8 hours. Me im not so lucky a normal day during the school year will have me at work from 8-5 and school from 6-10. Its all part of our plan though to become independent contributing members of society.

My son has an interesting name. He is named after the Beatles song 'Hey Jude' Chosen well before we even knew that my wife was pregnant. He is a ball of energy and curiosity constantly finding new things to get into. He knows where his head, belly , knees, elbows, eyes, ears, mouth, nose, tongue, and teeth are. He also knows that cats say meow, dogs say woof, cows say moo, and monkeys say ooh ahh ohh. He is only 21 months old so he is just now entering the tantrum stage. Its true though red heads have more attitude his longest tantrum to date was around 15 minutes of crying on the floor. Needless o say me and his mom were stronger and he didn't win by throwing a tantrum.

This is just a small glimpse into my personal life. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Ill try and do more when i get the time but life is busy.

A never ending run.

I also realized that i have attended 3 colleges. Which means while applying to a fourth to possibly pursue a bachelors degree I have to request a ton of transcripts. Its ok though i got 3/4 transcripts ordered only have to get my high school one sent. Hopefully ill geta transfer scholarship esspecially since i graduated with my AAS with 3.5 gpa and high school with a 3.5 gpa. WHo knows though ill just have to wait and see.

I leave for vacation today. So lookforward to no post until at least next wednesday. Im planning on not bringing any computers so i won't be able to play wow. Which is good! I will have 4 uninterupted family fun days. Hopefully we will have fun and the break from wow will be nice. Maybe ill get around to actually making a good bit of gold when i come back.

Funny Situation.

Two days ago i found myself looking at a funny situation. I was leveling a second bank alt so that my glyphs could be separated to 3 toons. I am leveling this mage to level 10 so that it is saved in the server memory and can be recovered. To level i decided to send all my caster boa items to the mage. SO he was decked out in the pve chest, and pvp staff & shoulders. I began leveling by casting at mobs. But as luck had it i accidentally hit a wyrm with my staff. Bam 48 damage! I was stunned my level 2 did more damage whacking things with the staff than casting. My average damage was around 28 when casting fireball.

This seems odd to me that my mage does more melee damage than elemental. Blizz should up spell damage coefficients for low levels. Not saying we should one shot mobs but it should do more damage than melee. Hopeful they will fix this with the new leveling changes coming during cataclysm. Either way I'm level 5 and have one more quest in noob village. Half way to my goal of having another banker.

So weekends can be fun.

This weekend i didn't get much accomplished in wow. My money making is still pretty low, seems like undercutting has become rampant in the glyph market. I will have to figure out a new posting schedule to handle the new competiton. I also am leveling a new bank toon to level 10 so that i will have 3 glyph posters releiving bag space on my scribe. It will also make sure that all the glyphs get posted currently in my bag shuffle im sure a few get left out.

I also had some the chance to get some raiding done. I managed to join a pug TOC 25 that one shot all the bosses in around 40 minutes. Solace of the fallen dropped however i rolled low. The winner wouldnt sell it either so i was frustrated. However being a pug with less strict loot rules gave me a chance to snag 2 trophies and a new necklace.

Shortly after leaving TOC 25 i managed to get into a ICC 10 man. I must say that ICC is a very well crafted raid, It has interesting raid with some unique boss mechanics. It also allowed me to play hero occasionaly B resing a tank that died on Marrowgar. Unfortunatley I didnt have meters running to judge my performance however it seemed like my other healer was not putting out 110% healing. We cleared all the way to festergut but with me being new and both tanks never kiting goo it didnt work out and we called the raid. I walked away with a friendly ring and a even better necklace. Last night brought my gs to around 5190 gs with 1 trophy that i still need to gain badges for so that i can upgrade my legs.

I must say after a night of raiding druid mechanics are wearing on me. Rejuv and wg spam is getting dull. However i still enjoy healing im just realy interested in the changes comming to my class and healing in general. Making fights less spam fest and giving us time to think will make healing more interesting. It will also allow a good healer to shine even more.

Blizzard please delete gear score while your breaking avr. Its stupid and ruins the game for many people.

example lfm 5k gs nax 25. LFM ICC 25 gs 5.7k+ .

I believe correct me if I'm wrong when icc came out that gs of around 5k was adequate for gaining entrance. but as time goes on people inflate the gs needed to do the dungeon leaving people behind. These people that sit at around 5k gs in mostly t9 and boe icc blues are unable to step foot into this raid because of the gs gate keepers. So blizzard i ask you as a casual player please break the gear score addon while you break avr. Its a blight among your community and slings mud on your mantra bring the player not the class. Now its bring the highest gs not the player.

The reason I'm asking this is when just goofing around on wow milling i asked someone if my druid was eligible to join their guild. Alas he said my gear sucked based on my 5k gs. SO me being a little pissed began trolling trade chat. Ranting that its dumb that a 5k gs person who has bought ICC boes, enchanted and gemmed his gear is unable to join an icc pug. In other news apparently a person can get 23 frost badges a week not doing icc. they should use these for t10 if they want in icc just fyi because only players in 4/4 t10 are able to do icc with a 15% buff.

I also was hunting last night to find out how much a game card would cost in gold. I got various answers ranging from 3k-10k . 10k seems about right for purchasing a game card however I'm not sure i want to do it just yet. Has anyone else done this does it break the TOS? I know its similar to rwmt for gold. However maybe it would skirt by on being legit because the transaction isn't for actual real world money but game time. IdK its interesting I'm considering it as an option to pay for wow.

I was bad during my vacation. I installed a competing mmo on my PC, wow did not like that Shes a jealous woman that will not let go. However, my experience with the other mmo has made me wish for wow to evolve to change to my ideal picture of an mmo. During my vacation as i will now call the time when i rage quit wow for a few weeks. I installed and and played Warhammer. I know it was bad why would I do that cheating on wow after four years for some shiney new mmo. So what if wow was old it was wrong of me to leave her just because she was showing signs of age. Plus wow said she was going to be getting surgery to hide all her imperfections and be more attractive. Well now i have to share with wow some things I would really enjoy her getting done during surgery.

1) Implement public quest knock off. I don't care if its blatantly stealing. This is a fun way to reward players working together in various zones. It was fun interacting with players and allows for new players to get access to group play without the commitment to finish a dungeon.

2) Revamp starting areas. The old races need some love their leveling experience is stale and bland. With cataclysm on the horizon make it interesting, possibly pulling these race3s from their devastated home area to a new begging post. Allow several races to begin in the common areas no more than 3, Implement public quest so that players work together to possibly solve issues in the zone. Using your system of phasing would allow veterans of the public quest see a change in the area, this could allow access to a new quest hub etc.

3) PVP while fun in BGs give us a reason for world pvp, Wg is fun but maybe some pvp without siege engines. Imagine AB in an open environment resets after an hour or 2 of control. The area could have a valuable daily quest hub, or even a dungeon. A raid would be nice but it could cause issues.

4) Continue with the current system allowing casual players to gear up to a decent level. This allows for players to be within the gear requirement for top tier endgame. While yes being the shit in t2 back in the day was nice. its time to not punish players for having other things than wow to do for 6 hours at a time.

5) My last suggestion is allow heirloom items to be purchased from a vendor with gold. It was nice to have heirlooms in game however the threshold of time needed for a person to acquire them is a little high. I don't think it would break the leveling system in fact it would probably encourage people to level more alts. It would also mean badges would be used strictly for gaining high level 85 gear and gems.

Wow you have been a great mistress. Keeping me in line making sure i spend time with you before i get fat loot. However times are a changing and while i still enjoy playing you. I can't afford to spend the time you require for some of your activities. So please consider adding some new stuff for casual players, let me keep enjoying you even if it is in a new position as a casual wow player.

Cleaning up after disaster.

So When i left you guys last I was distraught frustrated and angry. It seemed as all my hard work was wasted, the bad guys won and i was throwing in the towel. I even started playing another mmo to move on and leave wow behind. But wow and blizzards employees couldn't let me leave peacefully and move on. no they need my 15 dollars a month to make their empire even richer. Blizzard restored my account characters and items even 50k worth of gold. The call of wow began shortly after learning my stuff was waiting. It was to hard to resist it asked me questions such as why start over in an unfamiliar game. The crafting and AH pvp sucks in this game, don't you want to return to your empire. Wow sung to me like a siren pulling me towards azeroth and my freshly restored riches. So after much resistance i said f***k it canceled the new mmo subscription and began my journey to reclaim my empire.

When i returned to wow the well oiled machine was stripped apart. Items that were supposed to be on the enchanter were on my main. Items that were supposed to be on my scribe were on my bank alt. Everything was in disarray it was as if Butters had visited my account as professor disarray and moved my items around just to make me spend time sorting, organizing, equipping, and mailing them to their proper locations. All these things combined with me having to Dl addons for my new computer took quite a bit of my time last night. However after much work things began to look brighter, my machine was repaired every piece was where it was supposed to be.

I also had some nice presents left by the hackers around 15 epic gems, extra enchanting mats, I also had a primordial saronite and some random blue quality gems. I had eternals and they had even left my meta gem stock that i had made prior to being hacked. The herbs that i had purchased where still there in fact i had some returned from blizzard even though the hacker had farmed some. As everything was sorted out it seemed as if the hackers had left me in an ok position. So i posted a my metas, enchanting rods, enchanting scrolls, and some bags that i crafted.

While the smaller markets of my machine started working my inscription motor was stuck. I had acquired a fair amount of herbs to try and re-stock my ink. However i still needed more ink that and i had not even gotten my addons downloaded to begin mass production. So at the moment I'm purchasing herbs trying to acquire a massive amount of herbs. My glyph machine is low on glyphs so it will take around 1k -2k ink to fill all my stacks back up to 8. The reason my glyphs stock got so low was the drought in herbs prior to being hacked. Hopefully ill get the last part of my machine working and can begin a routine to make a fair amount of gold with as little time put into it.

PS. new computer owns wow. around 60 frames when out in the world and a solid 30 fps in voa 25 wich means raiding is no longer the lag fest it used to be.

I have posted 125 times to my blog and i don't regret a single one. My account is still banned mainly because i can't spend 45 minutes to call blizzard to have it unbanned. I hope to get this done today. After i get my account resurrected i will probably take a hiatus from wow. I'm tired i have played since 2006 which is a good 4 years for a game i love. While i will miss playing wow with my family and friends i know that eventually cataclysm will bring me back.

With that said I'm torn on what to do with my blog until then. i enjoy the wow blog community and will probably read about wow and various developments in the game . However since I'm not playing wow i can't really post about it. So what am i going to do with the blog ? Well that's a question I can't answer yet. I am thinking on my options. I can change the title and make it a blog about what ever i want to. Or i could use it to talk about games I am playing.

Ill think about it and when i come to a decision that I'm happy with you guys will get a post. It will tell you my goals for the blog and what im up to. I hope i can keep creating good content that my readers enjoy. Even if its not about wow.

My experience building my first custom PC.

So as you guys know from my last few post i finally got a computer that would play wow. This all came about because my parents were getting rid of their desk top and i figured that with a few upgrades it would be wow worthy. Unfortunately i was wrong and I began looking into upgrading to essentially a new system for super cheap.

The plan was to use the case, hard drive, power supply and disk drive in a new build. I would purchase a cpu, gpu, ram and mother board these would replace the parts that were old. I began my research i knew that AMD had the best bang for you buck in cheap processors. So i began doing research i found the AMD Athlon II X2 240 Regor 2.8GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Processor to be the processor that would fulfill my needs. IT was fast and highly over clock able which meant it would probably be usable for several years. I then picked a MB that would be upgradeable in memory and have at least 1 pcie 2.0 x 16 slot. The Mb i found to fit my needs was BIOSTAR A770E3 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard. It had 4 memory slots a pcie 2.0 x 16 slot and was an AM3 MB. Which meant it could hold any of AMDs current generation cpu. I then purchased CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 which left me room to upgrade later. The last part i needed was my GPU i did a good bit of research and found that a 4670 ati card would fill mos t of my current gaming needs. I decided to get BIOSTAR VA4673NH51-B Radeon HD 4670 512MB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP. It let me have good graphics and did not require a large PSU which meant my hammy down PSU should work. After picking all my parts i ordered them around 2 in the afternoon on Wednesday.

They arrived during the day on Thursday. Which was the day of my speech class final. I was anxious all day to began putting my parts in unfortunately fate decided to step in. The old case would not fit my MB. The mother board tray was different and the standoff holes did not align. So my plans to build my computer stopped. I had to buy another part, and the PSU wouldn't work either since it only supported 20 pin MB power connector. I then had a restless night of impatience. The next day at lunch i went to a local pc shop and purchased a COOLER MASTER Elite RC-310 case and a generic 500w PSU which was 100W faster than the old one. I rushed home and began working. Around 45 minutes later i had the MB( which already had cpu and ram installed onto it the previous night), GPU, Cd/dvd drive, HDD, and new PSU installed into the case. The moment of truth came when i pressed power. The machine booted up straight into BIOS.

This was my moment of victory, later that night i began attempting to install WIN 7. Which would have worked well except my copy was corrupted during burning. So instead i put vista on my computer until i can DL a copy of win 7 professional 64 bit ISO to create a new disk. My machine also got its first OC just to see if i could do it. I changed the CPU frequency to 250X 1.40 volts which puts my CPU clock at 3.5 ghz. Its extremely fast and runs cool around 30C at most times with stock heat sink. I haven't diagnosed its temperature under long stress loads yet though.

All and all I'm super happy with my new rig. It allows me to play modern games with little or no lag. Its also highly upgradeable allowing it to stay current and be able to play newer games. Hopefully i can get many years of use out of my system. My next planned upgrade is going to be a new HDD and Dvd/cd drive. The current ones are kinda slow and dated. Ill post some pics up once i do some serious wire management.

New PC, and wow i mean seriously WOW.

So i got my new computer running with vista 32 bit until i can make or track down a win 7 64 bit OS disk. Im really having fun tweaking my new pc. Its fun to actually have a computer that plays my games on high details with little to no lag. However the joy of having a new pc has dwindled because another issue that decided to crop up this weekend.

My account has been hacked so i have not been able to play wow properly. In fact my account is temporarily suspended at the moment. So i am unable to even tell the extent of the damage. Apparently the hackers cleaned out my guild bank where me and my cousin had 5 tabs of junk and a decent amount of gold. Its dismaying to me that all of my hard work is in the garbage. Hopefully blizzard can help me resolve this issue and restore my account and gbank to pre hacked status. If they are unable to restore a portion of my gold and only able restore items i may just call it quits on wow. Ill keep you guys updated on how things progress but for the moment i have no information i can share other than i was hacked.

In other non wow news. I am slowly getting less sucky at team fortress 2. I know that with more practice i can get better at it. currently spy, sniper, and medic are my favorite classes. If anyone is interested in playing TF2 with me send me a friends request my steam name is bobreaze so it should be easy to remember.

As you can tell i haven't posted much this week. That's because several reasons. Reason one is i have been finishing finals for school this week. I will graduate next Friday with an AAS in computer network support technology. Which it feels good to finally get my degree. I am currently hunting for an entry level tech position to begin learning the ropes. Because classroom training will never = actual work experience.

The other reason is I have been working on getting parts together to build a new computer. I finally ordered them yesterday and according to my wife they arrived this afternoon. Which means tonight i get to build my first computer. Its going to be a mesh of an old pc with new guts. The only parts I'm re using are my dvd/cd drive, an old raptor 1.5gbps sataI 80 gig HDD, and a 400w PSU With case. Originally this hammy down system had Pentium 4 processor 2.8 ghz, 2gb ddr ram, and a x700 ati agp graphics card.

I'm basically replacing all of those parts with an AM3 biostar board with 1x pcie 2.0 x 16 slot 59$, an anthalon II x2 240 2.8 ghz AM3 socket processor 49$, 2x2 gb ddr3 1333 ram 100$ , and a biostar 4670 512mb gpu 60$ . This gives me a highly upgradable machine that should play wow so much better than my laptop which has a 1.66 core duo processor and integrated video. Ill be installing windows 7 64 bit and hopefully wow tonight. IF i get wow up and running you guys will definitely get updates on my FPS and general gleeful thoughts of finally being able to see wow max graphics.

How will inscription change in the xpac.

How will inscription change in the expansion? This is a question that most scribes can't answer. I'm just going to tell you what i think will happen to inscription for cataclysm. To understand my view I'm going to give a quick synopsis of how inscription works ATM. Currently scribes use max level Northrend herbs to craft ink. They then trade a portion of this ink for lower tier ink IE leveling ink. They do this so they can craft every glyph and maximize profit.

With cataclysm blizzard will inevitably introduce new herbs which will create new ink, this ink will create new glyphs, and new off hands, and probably some other items. The real question is in cataclysm will Jessica sellers price change to use the new ink to buy lower level ink? IT could stay as it is currently with only allowing IOTS to trade to lower inks. This would cause a massive inflation to lower level glyphs and cause already scarce herbs prices to skyrocket even higher.

Another option blizzard has is to introduce a whole new set of glyphs for low levels and high levels. They would be crafted with the new herbs and possibly would cause the older glyphs to become useless. Either way whatever blizzard decides it will affect our market. So scribes may want to prepare in case blizzards lack of foresight could hurt business. My personal opinion is that blizzard will just change the cost of ink from Jessica sellers. However its always worth being prepared just in case blizzard chooses not to. Remember the first week of cataclysm will see tons of low level glyphs and high level glyphs selling out rapidly so every respectable scribe needs to be well stocked with glyphs and ink. Just in case blizzard chooses not to change the how we get our lower level ink.

So i have not really spent much time maintaining my glyph machine last week. It finally shuddered to a halt unfortunately its really not my fault . I was going to refuel the machine and have a massive crafting session but it seems that Herbs have become a rare commodity on my server. What i mean by this is between adders tongue and icethorn there were only 30 stacks at a reasonable price. So i can't refuel my glyph machine to begin making my glyphs. The problem actually multiplies though because even though I'm not able to make more glyphs I'm starting to sell off most of mine. Which means ill require more herbs to restock. Hopefully some farmers will move to our server but until they do ill just have to do what i can.

I have recently been dabbling in enchanting market. I found 2 enchants i enjoy making which are +10 to stats and Beserking to weapon. This market is a very fluctuating market similar to glyphs if my mats can't be had cheap ill just wait until i can get them cheap. Mainly my limiting factor here is that abyss crystals are in high demand and short supply. The bag market has become a pretty good gold making opportunity. I have been selling netherweave bags for 15g-20g with mats only costing up to 10g pretty good quick profit. Ive averaged selling 30 bags a day. I also have crafted myself some more meta gems to sell so those will get cut and posted today and i hope for a nice return on them. Currently I'm sitting at 52800g which means i have gold to spend. I can purchase over priced mats but it doesn't mean I'm going to. I may have to tap my JC friend on the shoulder and see if we can't work out a way to make good gold from his profession. Since titanium has dropped to 180g a stack on our server I'm sure we can work out a way for both of us to profit from this market.

In other news my priest has hit level 22 and is steadily working his way up to level 30. Its a long hard road but I'm doing it slowly to enjoy myself. I plan to start doing AB soon just because out of all BG that is the one i have enjoyed the most in the past. Hopefully it will still be fun and ill be able to gain a few levels doing PVP instead of constantly running Deadmines over and over and over. Seriously blizzard might need to add at least 1 new dungeon to the lower levels to at least make the new leveling experience even more interesting. Or blizzard could add a lockout to low level dungeons preventing you from getting the same one 4 times in a row. Just a 30 min lockout to force the finder to put a player in a different dungeon wouldn't be to bad. It would allow them to experience different dungeons instead of having the scenario of finishing one dungeon requing and doing the exact same dungeon again.

Priest is for haelz: my guide to healing level 10-19

So you've made the decision to try healing. Good the world of warcraft could always use more healers. Your job sounds simple make sure people stay alive. Well your in for a crash course in mana management and appropriate spell casting. Today I'm going to teach you how to accomplish both of these on your low level priest. To begin ill speak a little bit about your healing spells up to this level.

Your Healing Arsenal

Lesser Heal - a small heal with a 2.0 cast time.

Heal- A larger heal with a 2.5 cast time. Generally heals double what lesser heal can.

Renew- HOT spell.

PW:Shield- A shield that prevents damage to target. 4 second cd in between uses, 15 sec debuff that prevents use of shield on previously shielded targets.

These are the spells that are provided for you during your journey from 10-19. It's not a large arsenal but it does the job. So now that your a little more familiar with the spells I'm going to discuss the 5 second rule. This rule is that if you don't cast for 5 seconds your mana will begin regenerating at 100% even though your in combat. Generally if you can try reduce casting heals to when their necessary so you stay outside of the 5 second rule and regenerate more mana. This reduces down time and allows you to waste less time drinking water in between pulls. Also you should pickup the talent Spirit Tap from the shadow tree. This talent lets you gain passive more spirit to increase your mana regeneration. The only problem is to activate it you must get the killing blow. So to get the killing blow wand when no one needs heals. This gives you a chance to gain spirit tap and reduce time needed to recover mana also it allows you to be useful while staying outside of the 5SR.

Priest healing at this level is not very complicated. Mainly it consist of placing bubble and renew on tank or other players a needed. Then topping them off whenever the bubble drops until you can use bubble again. The most complicated decision you have is should I use Lesser Heal or Heal. A general rule of thumb to use in this situation is to ask yourself these questions.

Is the player above 65% health? then use lesser heal & renew. Also PW:S and Renew can stop or reduce incoming damage. IF its a tank renew & PW: S should be on him anyways.

Is the player below 65% health and dropping quickly? Then use Heal, also PW:S and Renew can stop or reduce incoming damage.

The first 9 levels of learning to play a healer are probably the easiest mainly because your choices are limited. You only have a few spells that you can cast. The hardest part is making sure you cast the appropriate spell to save mana. The other thing that you should do during these introductory levels is begin learning to use the 5 SR and wand monsters for spirit tap.

This is really all the info I can share about healing as a priest because mine is only 20. Hopefully I can share a guide for every bracket of the leveling process. So the next one will cover 20-29 it will include new spells and possible healing tactics. I also want to create a short guide on how to use heal bot an addon which is kinda like a combination of grid and clique. I do suggest that any new healers begin using heal bot or a similar addon asap because it will make life easier to become familiar with it as you level.

Tales from the dungeon: trials and tribulations of leveling through using the dungeon finder.

Recently i have been leveling a priest. I have decided that most of my leveling will be through dungeon finder and random BG with quest at appropriate levels 58 & 68. The reason for not really questing is i don't enjoy it. I have leveled through azeroth at least 5 times and through BC 4 times. I'm really burnt out on the content its not fun anymore. So that's why i decided that i would pvp and do dungeons.

One thing that i found shocking was that i found myself enjoying PVP. For most of my wow career i scoffed at it and found it utterly boring. It just never appealed to me until now. Its amazing what a difference a healer can make on a game of WSG i feel like i actually have a tangible affect on the outcome. My priest is a blast to play in pvp even without all of his fun tools just lesser heal, heal, bubble, and renew i always am trying to make sure i heal effectively.

Dungeon finder is sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse. I find that most of my groups from this have been adequate with the exception of having a paladin 2h tank at level 14. Its kinda nice getting grouped with some people that really know how to play a class even at a low level. It also allowed me to visit one of my favorite dungeons in game which is Deadmines. Its one of my favorites because it was the first dungeon i ever played in WOW.

So now for the gold update well I'm at 48,500g which means I'm only 1500g away from reaching the next mile stone which is 50k gold. I'm excited but also i believe I'm getting burnt out so after i reach 50k I'm going to tone down gold post, and probably tone down my attention given to the glyph market for a while. I plan to still make gold but I'm going to change from a re post 3 times a day to re post maybe 1 time a day. Which means my current pet project leveling my priest may become the highlight of the blog for a while.

Studying for finals SUCKS!

Finals are here and seeing as I'm trying my hardest to pull as many A letter grades as I can. Haven't had much time to do a good thoughtful post for my readers. So what is today's post about well its about nothing really I'm just doing the same old same old. Well except for i did take a gamble and flip some epic 264 leather melee dps boots. I purchased them for 7 k gold and sold them for 9k gold ended up with 1.6k profit for minimal work.

Well I lied i did begin playing my level 14 priest over the weekend got him to 17. I definitely need to get him a few more inscription bags so that when i solo i can just pull out my netherweave and leave my glyphs easily accessible in my bank. It is interesting running lowbie dungeons knowing that this one toon probably has more gold on him than their main characters. To bad i can't purchase items from other players to ensure an easier time leveling oh well the random package of goods is helping fill my non BOA slots. I also found another niche market that i may fill which is the +22 int to a 2h because there was only one on the AH and it could be a good seller in cataclysm. I say this because while most people believe adding +30 sp is best for casters i disagree most of the pain for casters in low levels comes from lack of mana.

Tonight me and my cousin will enter the random dungeon me healing him tanking. Go go lowbie priest heals. Its kinda funny how much more i have to try and heal at this level. Mana management is key i guess this is what cataclysm will be like. Give healers more time to think and pick appropriate heals. Its also fun to be in BGs and make a difference because i can keep my team alive while they decimate the other players. All and all with new ways to level my priest its allot less painful than it was when i first attempted it in BC.

So when i created this blog i originally wanted to be a gold tip provider. Offer advice to people on how they can make gold etc. Well as you may have noticed i have not been offering advice but sharing what I'm doing. Which is good and bad, sharing what I'm doing may give my readers information that they needed but its not really a tip. So what to do about this well I'm not going to stop posting what I'm doing. Its a big chunk of what my blog is. I am going to try and either make a guide or post a useful tip at least once a week. I plan to begin doing this once school releases me for the summer around may 7.

Since I'm already typing though i might as well share a tip with you guys that I've tried typing several times this week. The tip will be about taking advantage of niche markets.

Niche market - a small market which has a small customer base with a high demand. Usually has little to no competition. ( Stokpile keeps providing good info)

Niche Markets- enchanting rods, profession bags, gems(leveling IE from thorium), meat, Twink enchants,

These markets should be covered if you can. Most of the time there is low or no competition. Markets like enchanting rods can bring you in over around 150g each for an arcanite rod that cost you around 50g to make 10. Which means over 1500g from filling a market void that only takes a few minutes to craft. Profession bags are also rarely posted the other day there were no inscription bags on my server leaving a market that could have been filled. Gems from thorium are needed for JC to get up to 300. These are generally rare on the AH prospecting thorium almost always ends up profitable. Twink enchants are common sellers fiery, crusader etc are always selling to people re rolling. Meat this is a commonly over looked market if you can purchase up a good amount of the lower level meat to control a market the profits could be enormous. Sometimes clam meat goes for 40g a stack on my server and generally is low supply every now and then snatching this up cheaply and flipping it will give you a small niche market for a limited time. All of these methods will introduce you to various niche markets which can add to your income. Remember diversification increases profits.

So finally its time to tell you how the attack worked out. Well to be honest it exceeded my expectations. I had really only planned for my multi market attack to push me through the 30k barrier but i guess i low balled my estimate. Currently my gold is sitting at 36.5k gold which is around 8k higher than when i started the attack. Which means in four days i averaged around 2k total income from all my markets. While this isn't huge like some people *cough* *cough* Stokpile. No offense meant by that just poking fun at one the masters. This is what i normally pull in from about a week and a half of work so essentially it doubled my income.

SO i guess the next question is will i continue this multi market push. Yes and no if i find the time to craft more than glyphs sure ill keep on doing it as long as i can. It really only took around 30 minutes extra to craft wands and metas. The bags took a good bit longer mainly because production time is longer on bags. I definitely enjoy working multiple markets and its great to see 600-1k gold pulled out of a mailbox at one time.

What can my readers learn from this ? Well you learn that diversifying increases income. By putting a toe in multiple markets you can double the gold you make even without having some of the professions needed. Paying someone to do task for you is a way to gain access to professions and save time. It only cost me 300g to have 40 meta gems transmuted and cut(meaning materials for transmutes & 100g tip for cutting). The profit from these gems was around 2000g give or take a few hundred. Want to know the time investment for me to do this ? It took 8 minutes of my time and around 8 minutes of someonelse's which i was busy doing something else during. Use other people to make money and diversify then you can reap the benefits of multiple markets.

My multi market attack has begun. I had bags, meta gems, glyphs, arcanite rods, and a few enchants posted. While i didn't get everything made i wanted i am satisfied with how much i did get done. The thing is when i do these types of carpet bombs i normally craft 20 of every item i want to sell. So while my initial burst will be today whenever i get to check my mail the full results of my efforts will take a few days to become ripe. Ill have to re post several of the items over the next few days but that's ok. what doesn't sell today will sell tomorrow. When i logged i had 28.5k gold which means dabbling in these markets should put me well over 30k gold.

Now i know I've been saying I'm going to do something enchanting, maybe i worked some of you up thinking i would attack enchanting similar to how i dove in glyphs. Well I'm sorry to disappoint you guys if my methods for this market is different. Enchanting for some reason is more daunting for me to jump into. I can't simply blanket the enchanting market like glyphs you have to pick and choose the best enchants to craft. So last night i began doing this i put my toe in the enchanting pond hoping it didn't get bit. My method send 1k gold and 10 of each vellum to my enchanter. My enchanter had a few mats sitting on him to help mitigate the gold cost. So what did i spend my 1k gold on well i only spent a portion and created only 3 weapon enchants. I spent around 344g on buying infinite dust and abyssal crystals to make 3 55 sp weapon enchants that sell for around 600g each on my server. This is not a big splash like i made in the glyph market but its a start. Once these scrolls sell ill make more and diversify what enchants i make.

I hope to keep learning more about what works in enchanting. One thing is for sure its a very lucrative market. Hopefully ill get to check my mail later today. Which means tomorrow ill give you guys a result of my multi market attack.

Ive been dissatisfied with my income lately. Glyphs bring in decent income but I am interested in expanding to more markets. Flask are not an option because crazy herb prices and being transmute spec. I do make meta gems occasionally but not to regularly. So next week i plan to begin a multi market attack.

To do this i will have to higher out some crafters a BS & possibly a JC depending on cuts i want. The markets i plan to blanket are enchanting rods i plan to make 10 arcanite and 10 titanium rods this should be a weeks supply. Ill also pay the BS to craft 20 more belt buckles if that market has returned to normal or 35-45g selling price. I will also transmute 20 of each meta gem. Then ill pay a JC to make decent cuts out of each meta. Next i plan to purchase some netherweave and craft a good amount of bags to cover that market.

I also plan to start dabbling in the enchanting scrolls market. I'm going to begin small only making 5-10 scrolls 2 of which will be more expensive weapon enchants. I am doing this to dip my toes in the water so to speak. I know there is a large profit in enchanting i just need to find my niche. Ill also make at least 5 fiery scrolls to sell and possibly some crusader scrolls depending on material cost.

My glyph machine is also going to add a new item to be created. Runed scrolls of fortitude & the BOE off hands. Since snowfall ink sells like poop on my server i plan to convert at least 3/4ths of my supply into these. The other 1/4th ill keep for use in research. Glyphs will hopefully be crafted and maintained ensuring high amount of sells.

Gold Making Plateaus & a market update

When focusing on making gold in wow it seems like there are several plateaus that a player can reach. For some players reaching 5k is their plateau others try and reach a higher plateau 10k , 20k, 214k 54s 13c or whatever the gold cap is. A plateau in wow gold making seem to be when you reach a point and hover around it for several days even weeks. They are almost like barriers trying to keep you on them or below them. Some of the reason why players reach these plateau are personal goals they don't feel like going higher. Other players just spend a few days there maybe they needed to restock on items to sell etc, or they could be like me and completely changes both specs requiring the purchase of gear, enchants, and glyphs. The important thing to remember about each of these plateaus is that while it may seem difficult to reach or leave. It is not impossible with patience, effort, and controlled spending eventually you will surpass the barrier. So don't be discouraged because your sitting at 9k and wanting to break through to over 10k gold.

Last night was a sells boom i probably made around 1k-1.5k gold. Which on my server in its competitive glyph market is a decent income. Glyphs are chugging along I'm just working on doing research daily and adding the new glyphs to my que. It seems that either one of my competitors has given up or created new bank alts. Which is a good thing for me if they left the market. It means my presence will be larger and that i can acquire more sells. Maybe they are on vacation but since their departure a few glyphs have reset to my fallback price which always makes me happy. Currently sitting at 23k gold with more coming in steadily. I have not yet entered the enchanting market due to time commitments not enough time to figure out what to create. I plan to enter this market once i have more time to sit down and plan out the different enchants worth crafting.

My druid is now raid ready sitting at 34k self buffed HP. I plan to still acquire my full t9 gear for him but i also want to try my hand at tanking various PUG raids. Ill try and keep you guys updated on how this progresses. I'm also considering switching my secondary dps spec to boomkin because its more forgiving and would allow me easier access to raids as a dps. I may however just make my alt spec healing that away i can cover all the essential roles needed for a raid. Once my t9 is purchased i plan to begin saving triumph badges so that i can gather gear to level an alt in cataclysm. I still haven't decided on a class but i find my self leaning towards Hunter, Shaman, Pally, and Priest. Some people may be saying but you have a high level pally, which is true however he is currently on an inactive account collecting dust along with my t4 geared warrior of the same level. I'm not sure what ill decide yet really depends on what role i feel like playing when i level up through cataclysm. Tanking is always sexy and has super fast ques. But i have never played an exclusive dps class during endgame. Either way between gathering badges so that i can get leveling gear ill be leveling my DK slowly to 80 so he can be ready to level inscription.

Sorry for the lack of post last week. School is in its final month which means teachers are keeping me busy making sure i work my butt off so i can graduate. SO it has taken some of my wow time away also. This weekend was a profitable weekend. I made around 4kg putting my total to 23k gold. I think my spending spree has come to an end for now so hopefully my liquid gold should rise more dramatically this week than it did last week. I also hope to invest a little money into enchanting this week. Currently some scrolls sell for 100g-300g just for basic enchants such as AP to boots etc.

I haven't commented on druid changes for several reasons. One we only know a little bit about what they plan to do 2 i wanted to sleep on it before just coming to my blog to rant. On tree form change i believe this could be an interesting change, I am sad to see tree form leave but if it becomes something interesting such as giving us several different dynamic spells to go along with new tree form i may be happy. If its just a 3rd trinket button ill be a little upset loosing an iconic form to just have it be a third trinket is not fun. I believe they are going to change up restos spells. SO while we may not get new spells we could possibly see completely redesigned spells. Please blizzard make Life bloom be a Hot that jumps after each bloom until the stack is depleted.

Feral druids seem to be getting a nod. Their speed buff seems like a waste but whatever its not like it wont have its uses but i don't see using it to often myself. AoE bleed move seems pretty cool it will definitely help out with aoe aggro not that swipe cant handle it. As for maul being instant I'm going to take a wait and see approach to the rage changes for druids. Currently as a tank you almost need to have unlimited rage to spam attacks and there is not much time for thinking. Its put out max threat now or get the monster pulled off of you.

The boomkin changes seem like their heading in the right direction. In fact the new changes to boomkin kinda make me want to pick it up as my dps spec again. IT gets rid of the random aspects and is definitely adding a unique flavor to being boomkin. Plus magic mushrooms mannn cant we just all get along. Druid changes seem like they could be great I'm just going to take a wait and see approach and try not to get to worked up over the changes.

Another thing I'm doing in preparation for cataclysm is saving triumph badges for BoA gear. I think with the changes to leveling ill end up taking a new toon at least 1-60 if not all the way to 85. I want to make this as painless as possible so ill be twinking the gear out as much as possible. Possible classes I'm interested in leveling are Hunter, Shaman, Priest, or Mage. I'm not sure which ill level currently i have the BOA cloth chest and BOA PVP Mail shoulders.

Last night i decided to say screw it and throw my self to the wolves in LFG as a tank. I had 25k HP and even had a spell power trinket equipped. Guess what the world didn't crumble in fact i tanked 4 heroic dungeons with only one wipe. The best part is the one wipe came from what is arguably the most challenging dungeon in this expansion. That's right me a 25k Hp 35% dodge still wearing the snowflake trinket druid tank managed to successfully tank Halls of Reflection heroic with one wipe. So whats the conclusion of last nights endeavor ? That gear doesn't matter if you have a good group and smart players gear is just a bonus that can help them perform better.

Notes on druid tanking. Druid tanking is probably the most mindless out of all 4 tanking classes. During trash pulls its a swipe/maul fest. Which means i spam one button macro that cast swipe and ques maul. Occasionally ill put out lacerates to feel like I'm doing something else. Druids seem to lack any kind of intricate tank style. We don't have to follow a rotation like pallies or manage runes and wait on cool downs like Dk. Were not like warriors who have a bunch tools and more of a priority system. Druids have swipe/maul macro its really all you need to tank trash and It is even used fairly often on single target pulls. So hopefully in cataclysm we will get more fun tanking tools i guess it balances out. Because on one hand druid tanks are wtf easy mode tanking and on the other playing a druid kitty dps is like wtf hard as hell. Kitty dps requires a player to keep 2 bleed effects up, mangle debuff if no druid tanks, keep savage roar buff on, use tigers fury and Beserking appropriately. In my opinion druid kitties could stand to have some of their stuff simplified. While its nice knowing that being a good kitty druid means you are awesome. its a pain knowing that if one button was removed from our bars life could be even easier and allow for more situational awareness.

Last night Ktq decided to screw the pooch. It qued up 8 of every glyph so now i have odd stack sizes up to 16. Which also meant for the second week in a row i did not have enough ink for production. Which would have been fine but i had o purchase some adders tongue for 19g a stack. Made me sick that i used all my ink like that. However its not a bad thing just means my stock is larger than anticipated. I also made it up to 19k gold last night before i spent some on my druid.

I leveled my enchanting to 440 and purchased some new patterns from the dream shard person. now i just need to decide on whats most profitable to craft. Stokpiles blog has allot of information on it about enchanting so ill have to see if i can't get some ideas from him. I created 10 scrolls last night that should sell for anywhere from 100g-200g which means around 1k-1.5kg profit from materials i had sitting in my bank.

The dark moon faire is in town so i plan to list all my snowfall ink tonight or find a bulk buyer. Hopefully someone is interested and i can unload it for 12g each but I'm willing to take as little as 8g each. Speaking on the faire i can't see how the cards are even profitable they never seem to sell well. So my vow is to never craft anymore its a waste of my resources and id rather make off hands and runescrolls of fortitude.

My druid has changed both his specs. He is now kitty/bear combo which so far is doing OK. My kitty gear is top notch missing a few enchants and random gear pieces such as a trinkets and idol. bear set is suffering a little i currently only have 24k self buffed hp in bear. Most of my kitty gear=bear gear so that's probably why. However i plan to run dungeons with my healer buddy to get more badges to get t9 4/4 for feral. My first night as kitty dps i pulled 4500 dps on bosses which is respectable for heroics. I think i can do better with practice and perfecting my rotation-priorities. I'm looking forward to getting my bear set ready so that i can unleash my inner bear.

A question for my readers is 24k hp and 35% dodge to low to tank heroics? What if i have an excellent healer friend ? Bears don't have to stack def. to a cap so i would be crit immune.

I broke 20k gold this morning which means brought in around 5k gold over the weekend. Thats a good bit of profit. Unfortunatley i fell through the hole i made when breaking 20k. Im back down to 17k gold but currentyl have 853 IOTS. What made me fall a stupid decision. I decided to try and make cards and well it was a mistake i spent to much gold on eternals. So i guess live and learn. The other thing was i purchased an ass ton of icethorn around 150 stacks. I finally got a farmer to sell me 100 stacks at 12g each and 50 stacks from the AH from ah for 9g-15g. So now im ready for a crafting session tonight.

To make all this profit this weekend i didn't rely just on Inscription. I sold several epic gems and even crafted some bags. I was looking at my enchanter yesterday and i think ill craft some vellums to send to him. That away i can max out his enchanting with mats ive collected over time. This will give me another market in which i can begin bringing in profit. Hopefully everything pans out and ill be able to tell you how enchanting is making me killer gold.

So i went and got my first tattoo. It was a different experience. Tattoos are painful don't listen to shit that says its not that bad. Its not that bad after your done the pain is baisicly gone but during the process it sucks. The end result however is worth the results.

The last few days my glyph sells have ben pitiful. I average around 700-800g a day which is alot lower than the 1500g my first few days of being a scribe. There are several factors to why this has happend. The first one is just being undercut it seems like my main competition manages to log in right after me and undercut me. This is no big deal but it does slow the sale of glyphs. So I have tried to begin posting after my competition on days that i manage this my sells are dramaticly higher than if i post to early and get undercut. The other one is players seem to have slowed their buying of glyphs. I suppose they have gotten their telents set and dont need to adjust them at the moment.

I am starting to stockpile more ink im thinking about droping my threshold on ktq and just creating every glyph. This would give me a bigger market pressence and the chance that some of the leveling glyphs may not be posted. Which would allow me to post at my fallback price which is nice. Im going to have to refil glyphs tomorrow which is going to be tedious but its necessary tokeep crafting. Currently im sitting at around 12.5k gold total which means im well over the 10k barrier and heading towards 20k quickly. If the weekend sells are good i may be able to break 20k by next weekend.

Stokpile asked me to post more about bulk mail 2. Well I have pics on it and plan to do a guide as soon as i find the time. Hopefully I can paint on the pictures to prepare them for a monday post. This addon is absolutley essential if you use diffrent toons to craft it is amazing how useful it is. More on this in a few days though.

Glyph machine: Upgrades & modifications

The glyph machine got an overhaul on monday and tuesday. Monday Ibegan expanding my production i now keep 8 of every glyph that i can craft. This took a good bit of effort and i began running into the issue of no bankspace and full bags. It also took a lot of ink to increase my stacks from 3-8. Which meant alot of my gold got reinvested into herbs instead of sitting there shiney. I ended monday with 7k ish gold.

Tuesday came around and Idecided I needed to top my glyphs off. Well i managed to shuffle bags around and get my glyphs crafted. This was when I decided enough was enough the glyph machine needed a new wheel. So I added my priest to the machine as a banker. He currently is level 14 and doing nothing but gathering dust. So i purchased 2 inscription bags for him and parked him in the silvermoon AH. I then downloaded bulk mail 2 addon and added it to my small army of addons. This addon allowed me to set up a rules that said every DK, Druid, hunter, and priest glyph got sent to my priest. So now when I open my send mail window if i have any of these glyphs it will ask me if i want to send. Click send and bam 30 seconds or less later my scribes bags where half empty. Now i have 2 wheels spinning in my glyph machine and im making good progress in the market.

How big of a competitor am I? This is a hard question for me to answer last night i had 888 glyphs posted. In the whole AH there were 3000 glyphs. So i suppose im a huge competitor in my market. It seems like the more i expand my bussiness less people under cut me. Currently i have one person who i know under cuts me in the mornings and at night. I have his names saved to my friends list and make sure to post right after both of his toons go offline. Im hoping a few more days of keeping him undercut and he may decide to leave the market. My glyph machine is moving and i hope to keep the gears oiled and keep producing profit. Last nights sales finaly pushed me over 10k gold combined between my 3 toons. I hope to eventually make it to the gold cap andI can see inscription carrying me to it.

My glyph machine is running smoothly. I have finaly learned all of the glyphs i can from books so now im down to just learning 2 new glyphs a day. My current production level is 3 of each glyph. Which i have been restocking almost daily. Im going to up production of glyphs to 8 of each glyph. This will allow me to post glyphs with out having to cancle saving me time to do cancling later when i have time. I also began crafting the some vellums and a few fort scrolls. I also decided to make some off hands just to try and see how they sell.

My current gold on my glyph banker is 6k gold. On my other bank toon i have around 2k gold. Which means grand total is 8k gold. Ill easily break 10k again this week. I also have been itching to dive into a few old markets. Im planning on producing more belt buckles if their price is up. I am also going to try and make 10 titanium rods and 10 arcanite rods to sell. These will bring me gold from other markets and are post and forget type of auctions. Hopefully by using multiple markets i can increase my daily income. I managed to make around 2k gold on saturday in sells all from inscription. The gold machine keeps chugging i just have to keep it maintained and add some more bells and whistles so it can go faster.

WEll I made it past my first couple of days as a scribe and had tremendous profit. Day three though my profit dropped to only 500g. I believe there was one factor for this. I posted my glyphs early around 9 o clock and didn't even post all of them. So not only did i not cover a majority of the glyphs, i posted early enough for my competition to come in and undercut me. Its a lesson i needed to learn. To make great profit you have to put in the effort and make sure to do things properly. Posting after the competition gives me more oppourtunities to make sells before being undercut. Posting all my glyphs makes sure that if someone wants it i have it posted. I probably lost out on a good bit of sells las t night due to my mistake.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be crafting days im hoping to increase my glyph stock to 8. this will allow me to post glyphs twice before having to cancle. This will cut down the time i spend on wow which makes my wife happier. Currently between both characters i have over 5k gold seems like ill be busting through the 10k barrier sometime next week. I plan to make a major investment in herbs over the weekend. Ill be stocking up so i can try and only have one mill day during the work week. This will also reduce total time needed to keep my glyphs crafted because i wont have to mill before i begin crafting if i have to restock glyphs mid week. I also plan to purchase more books to try and learn all the glyphs i can.

On a side note did anyone realize they were making most glyphs one ink in 3.3? I didn't until last night which means less ink consumed. I think blizzard just made one of the most profitable proffessions even more profitable. It also means that a large stock of ink will last much longer than it used to. I still havent done a proper calculation on how profitable selling glyphs currently is but i know that total gold spent on herbs has been 1400g since maxing out inscription which means ive made over 4400g on my scribe since he is sitting at only 3kg. I guess when i purchase my next bulk batch of herbs ill try and document everything and work on the math to get my total glyph cost.

Night 2 of the glyph machine consisted of milling, crafting , posting. I had purchased 700g worth of icethorn the night before so i decided it was time to mill and craft. I also increased my crafting que from 2 of every glyph to 3. I'm hoping to increase it to 5 by next Monday. Currently a crafting que of 3 left me making 365 glyphs. Not bad seeing as some of the crafting was just 1 glyph to fill a stack back up. I'm noticing that like everyone said leveling glyphs sell like shit sandwiches. Which means they sit in my bag doing nothing because my threshold is at 4g 30s and some are down to 99s.

I'm doing my daily research ad investing in books when i see decent deals. Today when i checked my mail at lunch after checking it i had 2500g which means i made around 1500g last night. Not a bad profit. Hopefully with my gold supply going higher i can invest in more icethorn and spend less time milling next week. Glyphs are a great business and things smooth out after that first jump into the market.

i was comparing myself to my competitors last night and it seems that I'm posting as many glyphs as some of them. most post only 3 to 5 of each glyph. They however probably have a bigger stock so they don't have to mill as often. My goal for next week is to increase my stock to at least 5 of each glyph. I'm trying to figure out what the benefit of having stacks larger than 5 would be. I guess i wouldn't have to wait at the mail box if i got undercut i could just hit post. But i don't mind canceling then clearing my mail then posting again. Currently i have 400 glyphs posted out of 2600 which means I'm getting closer to gaining 2/5 ths of the glyph market. if i could get my glyph production up to where i had a presence of 1/4 th i would be more than pleased. I'm not sure why i want to be 1/4th of the glyph market but it seems like it would offer greater chances for making gold. As always please leave comments and advice its always appreciated.

"Damn" My first night as a scribe

Damn is the word that describes my first night as a working scribe on my server. Damn I love KTQ and QA3 I would die with out them. Damn milling 60 stacks of icethorn sucks my balls. Damn Skillet makes me press start for every glyph. Damn this was so worth leveling why didn't i do it earlier.

Last night I began my journey to becoming a profitable scribe. I began my night by milling 60 stacks of icethorn. After I completed milling i took an inventory of stock I had over 700 IOTS. I then began the task of downloading and configuring KTQ and QA3. Which I had read several guides on earlier in the day to become familiar with them. KTQ was easy just send it the command KTQ QUE 2 glyph I had its threshold set at 5g. So this meant KTQ sent a command to skillet to craft 2 of every glyph that sold for more than 5g. Skillet is an addon similar to ATSW which allows crafting to become easier. A quick trip to the vendors and I had all the materials needed to craft 2 of every glyph. After a long time of pressing process que and changing out inscription bags crafting was complete. As you can see in the picture below my bags were stuffed full of every glyph. I had 7 full inscription bags of nothing but glyphs 366 in total.

After getting my bags full i ran to the Ah to begin configuring QA3. I had a few miss fires with the configuration. I accidentally set the threshold to 50g when i meant to make that my fallback. I also tried to post items with nothing in my item group. After spending time sorting this out I finally got QA3 configured how i wanted. Currently my threshold is 4g30s and my fall back is 50g32s5c it will under cut by 1s32c every time i post. I know I am not a goblin in how i post but if i got in a under cut war i could change my under cut and threshold values.

My first night as a scribe I captured 1/10th of my glyph market I had around 366 auctions posted out of 2600. Not bad for a first night hopefully i can keep the pace up. My results for my effort showed almost immediately. Within 5 minutes of posting my auctions i had 6 sells. Last night after posting my scribe sat at 350g. After re posting a few times and getting mail he sat at around 1700g. Which means for my first day seriously doing inscription i raked in around 1400g. I have since reinvested 700g in the purchase of more icethorn. The glyph machine is taking off its exciting and new. Ill try and get more accurate numbers to show how profitable inscription is for me. I look forward to sharing my experience with my readers and hopefully inspiring them to take on the wild task of building a scribe empire.

So i reached 65 yesterday and began leveling inscription to the max. I reached 446 before running out of green glyphs and snowfall to do darkmoon cards. I did my daily research and bought 17 glyph mastery books. Currently my glyph bussiness is kinda unsteady i have around 300 IOTS in my bank. The hard part is just trying to figure out what glyphs to make.

I belive i may follow kevmars example and begin making every glyph starting with 3 of each kind. I am going to modify it though to make each glyph that has a value of 6g or more. I think this would probably be the easiest method to learn the market and find out which glyphs i shouldn't make. It will also allow me to get QA3 set up so i can begin posting and canceling glyphs more efficently. Auctioneers appraiser jsut doesn't cut it for making it big in the glyph market.

Currently have around 2.5k gold on my main banker my scribe is at 80g due to the purchase of books & cheap tiger lily. However i need to find a good supply of icethorn or equal level herbs. The reason being is that it produces more icy pigments for snowfall ink. Which i am either going to sell or use to craft more darkmoon cards. Last night i made 6 cards and luck was on my side i crafted 3 nobles cards. Their value is around 1500g the other 3 cards though dont sell for much.

My goals for tonight are craft 2-3 of every glyph above 5g in value and configure QA3 to post and cancle them. I also need to look into inscription bags it seems that im going to need several of these in the future. Glyph machine is starting work im just at phase 1 and will need several days to get my machine moving.

So the other day why checking mail i saw an opourtunity i couldnt pass up. 5 stacks of titanium ore for 200g each. Now if i did what i normaly do and ignore trade chat i wouldnt have gotten such a good deal. So the moral of this tale is dont ignore trade chat just ignore the idiots spouting out anal jokes.

In other news I have around 2k gold worth of auctions posted and have around 1.6k gold on my main banker and 1k gold on my DK scribe. I have a stack of belt buckles collecting dust because i refuse to sell them at 30g each. My Dk is half a level away from 65 so ill begin my journey to 450 inscription tonight. Currently i have around 300 IOTS waiting to be used to gain my 450 and begin creating a store of glyphs to sale. My experience with higher end glyphs so far has been positive while im not maximizing profit by cancling constanly. i have managed to sell all but 10 or so glyphs that i made while reaching 375 inscription. Once i hit 450 ill get QA3 and look into KTQ to see which is best for my needs. Then ill become the most devious AH camper ever seen.

This week should be exciting hoping to have a few good post on my impressions from the glyph market. Also it will be interesting to see how the frozen orb change affects the alchemy markets if 3.3 hits. Also does anyone know of a way to automate milling ? i currently have a macro that auto mills everything i have with a click but im looking for a way to get this process fully automated similar to inking. I may possibly have to invest in a toy bird that bobs up and down to press the 1 key for me. One way this may acheived would be through using a key board macro on a g15 similar to how people afk BGs by jumping. However this runs the risk of causing a ban hammer to fall so ill have to look into my options.

I paid someone to ink some spare herbs i had laying around in the bank and crafted 13 snowfall and 93 IOTS. I posted the snowfall in AH as individuals hoping to sell them off and make a little side cash. I then proceeded to make Jessica sellers ink shop my temporary home. I crafted around 60 armour vellum III to sell. I also grabbed the 3 patterns the inscriptionist supplier sells. I used up my supply of ink crafting glyphs that sell for around 10-25g each. Currently they are in the AH selling slowly.

To accomplish my goal of using inscription to make gold im using several addons. The two i used last night were Lil sparky's workshop and Advanced trade skill window. Lil Sparky's allows you to get a value of the different glyphs that you can create. I don't take this as the absolute value but more of a general guideline of selling price. ATSW allows you to Que multiple glyph or processes allowing you to set production and go. ATSW also will purchase all the materials needed from a vendor such as resilient parchment. There is one more addon that i haven't used yet but will begin configuring today that's QA3. It is supposed to allow you to set a minimum and maximum for glyph prices and it will cancel and post the glyphs for you. To make a larger profit in the glyph market frequent re posting will ensure you make more sales. This is were QA3 is supposed to come in and streamline the process making it less tedious.

Hopefully i can push my DK to 65 over the weekend and use the gold from selling glyphs to purchase more herbs to level to 450. In other news my meta gems are selling quickly chaotic skyflares seem to sell more regularly than my rare cuts for earthseige. One reason i think the earthseige cuts aren't selling is being undercut. I haven't looked to see but it may be a reason for the sluggish sales. My belt buckles are sitting in my bank the market is down around 28g per buckle which is lower than I'm willing to sale. The market for buckles will reset up it can't sustain the low price i foresee a 10-20g increase in price coming in the next few days. current gold count is around 1800g spent allot on bid low sell normal. So either ill win my bids or lose them either way its gold gained or staying the same.

Druid Healing A Summary

Druid healing can be fun and interesting and tedious at the same time. In a 5 man group druid healing is probably my favorite healer instead of reactive healing I'm proactive keeping WG and rejuv. up with occasional swift mends and nourish as needed. As a 5 man healer i can sit back relax OH all dungeon long and its become a loot pinata. I consider my self a great 5 man healer.

Raiding is when i start feeling almost ineffective as a druid healer. The reason being is being a HOT specialist i feel that in raids i can do my rotation* 5 rejuv. wildgrowth and regrowth on tanks and still it feels like I'm not benefiting the raid. I swift mend when its needed but most of the time the target that needs a swift mend doesn't have a hot on him so then its rejuv.-SM. However by the time i do rejuv.- swift mend combo a priest or shaman or pally has already spot healed the person making my spells a waste. I can pull around 4k HPS in VOA and i have hit 5k HPS in TOC it just seems like with raid healing Ive hit a wall. Heal sniping makes me feel ineffective other healers with direct heals seem to be able to top raid damage off faster than my HOTs can with less effort. I guess this is just me whining because as a healer i like to feel like I'm the hero these people lived because of me. In a raid i feel like oh i covered those people then u guys came and topped them off i guess i helped.

I suppose the reason i feel ineffective is while hots are great for helping keep someone alive they don't have the bam of other healers spells. Which leads me to my next subject WTB chain heal or circle of healing. Or a redesign on specific hots maybe give Wild Growth a direct heal then HOT component. I don't know I'm just talking out of my ass druids are fine and I'm a good healer i just wish i were better. Lag has allot to do with my occasional fail as a healer 25 people shooting spells makes my laptops inter grated GPU bog down which causes my healing to become slower.

New Beggings: Spending gold to make gold

Yesterday i decided it was time to kick my rusty gold making machine into gear. I purchased the mats to make 40 meta gems 20 of each type. I also purchased the mats to make 20 eternal belt buckles. Total gold spend was roughly 1000g however the estimated sell price for all the items produced is around 2100g or 1100g profit. Once they all sell ill be sitting around 3400g. I hope to reach level 64 on my DK which means just one more level before i can begin pushing his inscription to max level.

Current gold level is 1500g. which is really low but sometimes to make gold i have to spend gold. I used to spend 5-6k gold to make more gold so this is no different just puts my gold lower than my comfort level. On a side note i plan to do a small write up on Advanced trade skill window and LIL sparkys workshop. From what i understand these are very valuable to becoming a inscription master also it will help with starting up the old netherweave bag machine.

Kicking my rusty gold making machine into action feels good. It will take time for the results of my efforts to show. Hopefully it will also show that no matter how low your gold gets with the right techniques you can always bring in more gold. Maybe it will inspire someone with a low amount of gold to begin their journey to riches who knows. I plan to document what i do and the results of my investments so that it gives a clear picture on how the whole system works.

Druid updates

Well druid healer currently sits at 5065 gs which i can inflate to 5.2k depending on gear choices. I managed to do TOC 25 man 10 & 25 man VOA and my weekly raid this week. Happy times for my druid i got some nice feral gear and more badges. I have been trying to do at least my daily heroic for badges and hope by next monday ill have the 80 badges needed to build 4/4 boomkin t9. Im debating on making a forray into ICC 10 ( my comp hates 25 mans ) currently i can pull around 3-5k hps which is respectable seeing as i generally get heal sniped.

Gearing the druid is fun and making wow a new game so much fun that ive only put an hour into ff13. Hopefuly i can rectify this later today and put a little more time into the "precious". Currently my DK is sitting at 63.5 which means a level and a half from my goal of 65. Im going to get some herbs i have layed around miled to get him leveled up to 350 so that when he hits 65 he can mill his own herbs.

in gold news im up 400g to 2400g still poor but its ok. I am gaining gold slowly through bid low sell normal. Im also slowly gathering mats for a batch of belt buckles & meta gem transmutes. Hopefully if i get time i can spend around 1k gold and make 3k gold profit putting me at 4400g if i can expect me to post results on monday.

Recently one a Blogger i respect and read daily closed up shop. Not an uncommon occurence in the blogging world however they did it in a very shocking way. Unlike me they didnt take a hiatus they just deleted all their previous post and stopped. For me this is unsettling the thought of deleting all my hard work is demoralizing. So if i ever actually stop blogging i wont close up shop ill just take an unnanounced hiatus like my last one. The reasoning for this blogger to close shop was unwanted attention or maybe criticism from other bloggers. Im not sre what i do know is that the druid healer community lost a jewel of information and someone who had fun to read post.

So blog has died again which i mean to rectifhy soon (tm). My RL has been hectic plus i havent had any gold stories to talk about. Well im considered poor now i have 2k gold to my name. What happend you may say well i played wow and spent gold an improved my character. While doing this my means of making gold expired and i just havent kept at it. Plans Well the DK is level 63 yay it leveld 1 whole level. But i have my cousin and friend to level with to 65 so i hope to finish this nightmare of a task by the weekend. Unless FF13 gets in the way only an hour in and i hear it calling me from my wow. After reaching 65 i plan to begin a vellum bussiness and craft a few offhands. Glyphs may be something to poke my nose into but currently wish to stay away from them because well time. Ill post more info as i can also for the person that posted 7 fiery enchants at 25g on blackdragon flight ty i fliped them for 50g profit each.

Gold is trickling into my coffers. I havent really cared to make any. I have enough to repair enchant ETC. I think im feeling the wow burnout mainly because of lack of raid time coupled with lack of progression for my druid. My druid sits at 5086 GS it only took me 2 weeks to get every peice of badge gear. Now i need to work on my Boomkin set and i just cant get motivated to play my druid. Its depressing so I began leveling a priest. My priest is called blindlight its a BE male which are ok looking. Ill be leveling holy/disc up to 40 then my shadow side will come out to play. i have 3 BOA items so playing him is enjoyable. Im going to grab JC and begin leveling it hopefully this project will be fun and enjoyable. Ill have a more indepth post about Blindlight in a few hours or tomorrow lets just say leveling this caster has been interesting.

Sorry for the lack of post. I got caught up leveling and gearing my druid. I finally broke 44k gold then promptly after hitting 80 have dropped it down to 9k g. What did I spend it on well 264 boots 264 belt the jazz tell bell (however it’s spelt BOE trinket) Epic gems and Enchants. My druids GS is 4750 which I acquired after only a week of being 80. 4/4 t9 and other epic drops. I have around 2500 sp and 400 haste and MP5 from my gear so heroics are easy. I did my first two raids 25 men Ony and 10 man TOC they were fun raids. I came in 4th place healing in ONY and 2nd in TOC which was pretty decent imo.

I am starting to bid low sell normal more frequently I don’t know how long it will take for me to reach 44k gold again but maybe one day. I’m not sad that I am poor now because doing dungeons makes spending the gold worth it. Being OP makes me smile and that’s what wow is meant to be something that makes you happy. More post will come on my druids’ adventures at 80.

1 Week time and gold spent = 4750 GS Resto. Druid missing 2 epics which are rings. After I get my two ring slots filled for resto my badges will begin purchasing boomkin amour sets. That away leveling in cataclysm will become easier. Druids are hybrids so we should have two decent sets.

Rl interferes again

Well it seems like the monster that is RL keeps interfering with wow. Im having to place my reactivated account with jeri on standby for a bit. This doesn't mean i wont play wow just means my stories of leveling jeri wont be happening once the account is deactivated. This sucks for me because im realy enjoying leveling my paladin, I plan to keep posting new gold making tips and making gold. Ill even begin leveln my druid healer and that pesky death knight that i've been letting rot away in dalarn. While I am saddend by this development life goes on and its not like i wont be enjoying wow. Ill just be playing it a different way with a character that has no history in the game. No new gold development for this week I'm plodding along doing the usual and trying to think of new ideas. Ill keep you guys updated on how things are going.

Recently Jeri has progressed to Grizzlyhills needless to say im loving it. I have been questing there for one day and qued as dps for dungeons. Its a nice change of scenery from the tundra and dragonblight stuff is actually green and looks natural. I have enjoyed the change and been doing the dailies for a upgraded libram. Which are scarce it will be the best one until i can get a triumph badge one. Jeri is currently level 74.5 and his skinning is 431 so its creating decent profits for the amount of time put into it. I finaly got some tank upgrades I made tempered saronite belt land legs they are nice and make me less squishy as a tank. I also have chest and boots crafted for when i ding 75.

As for gold making im seeing a slow return on the thorium prospecting. Currently im getting under cut on the gems. I am still able to sell a few though profit returns for this will be slow. SO when considering this investment dont put all your gold in it because the return is slow. I also sold several epic cut gems that i had bought so that bumped my gold total to 35k. I plan to make more belt buckles and have them prepared for tuesday. Thats when prices rise because more people get new gear on tuesday. I also am going to purchase more mats for crusade, and fiery. Im going to look into mongoose to see if its profitable it may not be.

I checked my mail at lunch time. It contained some of my recent auction house endeavors a gain of 6k to 31k gold. I sold buckles, fiery enchant, crusader enchant, pets, simple gems, epic gems, titan steel bars that were fliped , and Netherweave bags has gotten me to this point. I diversified my markets and have a constant stream of incoming gold. Now i don't have to worry if i get undercut in one market because ill make up the gold in a different market.

I had over 267 auctions going last night. most Of them for over 10g - 4400g. The thing is everything on the Auction house is selling for profit. This is why my gold jumped from 25k to 31k in just a few hours. It seemed like my competition was stagnant people that just throw stuff on the AH and forget about it. No serious sellers were around to undercut. I even found out one of my friends was buying my vendor pets for a round 34g profit to me and - 74g for his bank. IT was funny because he walked up and showed me it and i was like wow. If you read my blog you would have gone to the vendor to get it.

thorium ore test

A few days ago I posted about how prospecting thorium seemed like a profitable method of making gold. While I am not the person to come up with the idea I felt i should share it with my readers. To demonstrate the profit for prospecting thorium ore i wanted to invest a decent sum of gold so i spent 1k gold on 32 stacks of thorium ore. The average cost per stack of thorium was 31.25g however each stacks varied in price from 30g-35g each. I placed these in the guild bank and my cousin was kind enough to prospect them free of charge. Below ill list the amount of gems gathered how much they sell for and the total gold that each gem type will sell for.

45 Azerothian Diamond x 13g each = 617g total

31 Huge Emerald x 16g each = 500g total

35 Blue Sapphire x 2g each = 70g total

28 Large Opal x 14g each = 415g total

18 Star Ruby x10g each = 182g total

1784g total - 1000g investment = 784g profit

For 20 minutes of work and an investment of 1k gold It seems that thorium ore prospecting will generate close to 800g profit. To me this seems like a great investment and will definitely be on my snatch list. The reason i suggest using this method is because thorium ore is a bottle neck in JC and will allow you to make great profit. By purchasing the ore you keep JC from getting it cheaply forcing them to buy your gems, mine their own ore, or invest in over priced thorium that will not always provide the gems they need to level.

There are some general notes i want to share with you on things to look out for. These gems fluctuate in price + or -10g at times try to take advantage of selling high. Don't be scared to wait for a bit for cheaper gems to sell if their not at the price point you want. Another thing that can be done with this market is the purchase of other peoples gems to flip. Don't try and monopolize but sometimes there may be 3-4 gems that would drop your price 4-5g. Why not purchase them and flip them up to the price you want make profit on them and sell your gems where you want. I would not however try and monopolize a market generally you will fail and loose allot of gold in the process. Well that's all my advice on thorium so get to prospecting and post your results in the comments.

Im frustrated with leveling Jeri. I hit 73 and finaly started running new instances. The spider dungeon is easy but Old Kingdom has been hell. Im taking massive damage and my luck at having decent heals has been fail. Blizzard realy didnt plan the lower level dungeon loot well. Should have full blue tank set by running early dungeons IMO. Instead we only get 1 ring drop and you dont even do thed ungeon until lvl 73.

Im going to look into the crafted blue tank set. Its better than nothing and will help my mitigation out. I also will probably invest in a few enchants i have extra mats and a enchanter. I hate feeling super squishy and thats what its like atm and thats why i may invest some gold in gear. Im probably going to take a dungeon break only do my daily then quest since the luck of the draw with players has stunk recently and i hear grizzly hills is fun. I've never been there so it will be new and thats always good.

Thorium ore prospecting

A while ago i read a tip that stated thorium ore gems sold well. I forgot where i read this but i did. so the idea is not my own but i did test it out. I purchased 2 stacks of thorium ore for around 70g. Then i had my cousin prospect them for the gems. Total i got around 9 gems that sold from 14g-20g each and 2 blue crystals which dont sell for crap around 1g if your lucky on my server.

This method seems like a promissing venture so what im going to do is set snatch to begin grabbing stacks of thorium ore at 35g or lower. I hope to give you an update tomorrow on how many stacks i can get and proper count on gems and what type of gems. After i do this ill have an accurate representation on how profitable this could be.

In other news I ran into an awful pug group for old kingdom. IT was going ok Or as my pugs usualy go with me topping meters and dps generally slacking imo. Then we reached the first boss that spawns guardians thats when the shit hit the fan. None of the dps killed the guardians and the boss stayed immune for way to long. Eventually we wiped after i blew all my cool downs and the healer self rezed I decided to ditch the group i have a low idiot tolerance and wast trying to finish up before class. I hate to say it but if i continue to get groups that fail that bad ill actually have to make a post dedicated to how bad it was.

gold update

Currently im sitting at just over 24000 gold. Which in perspective is a good chunk of gold but for me its not good enough. I want to get 50k gold and im starting to move closer to it. I may only have 24k gold on my bank character that does not represent the value of items i have collected. Currently around 3600g in epic gems and 4500g in a nobles deck. Which puts my total gold to around 31000g give or take a grand.

I'm currently only using a few methods to really make gold. Im trading borean leather for heavy leather then creating arctic furs generally one every few days jeri is supplying the leather. Im also selling epic gems i transmute daily plus i am currently buying titanium ore when it drops below 230g per stack. I am crafting eternal belt buckles it seems like im going through my 20 stack stocks almost daily so i may increase production to 40. These belt buckles are selling for around 36g each so its around 400g propfit for a 300g investment. I have also purchased small radiant shards for 5g each these are crafted into scrolls of enchant fiery weapon. Which im selling at 77g each for a profit of 50g per scroll. I have been gathering a small stock of netherweave bags around 10. Prices of netherweave cloth has been up recently so i cant gather much stock. I also am crafting frostweave bags whenever i collect enough cloth from leveling jeri. I have a small stockpile of enchanting materials in the bank that i could sell for a quick bit of gold but im not going to. I plan to save them to enchant jeris' gear once he reaches the cap.

Addons.

Recently i read a blog post stating that wow would be harder without addons. I'm not sure i agree with this one hundred percent. Parts of wow would be hard with out addons. Playing the AH would definatly become a chore and the economy of wow would slow down a good bit. Mainly because the time consuming nature of posting auctions. I dont belive the fighting part of wow would become any harder. I have raided with the bassic UI since pre-BC days. The only addons i use that are combat related are omnicc and recount. I used to use Deadly boss mod and decursive back when i had 40 people to cleanse. One of my friends is the same way uses nothing but default wow window to heal. We were discussing wether we thought having a custom Ui would make wow easier. We both belive that for combat there is no need for all the addons people claim they cant live without. The only thing needed is keybindings that you know like the back of your hand and understanding of your rotations and proper situational usage of spells.

I've seen claims of people stating they cant heal without grid to me i just wonder why not. Default raid UI isn't that bad. It shows debuffs and health all you need to be a good healer. Some people state they need clique to heal i ask why again. keybind your heals 1-4 on action bar with a modifier if you need to then point and click the target then click the button for the spell needed. With coordination its as instantaneous as clique and for me more comfortable just like whack a mole. Addons make a job different but not necessarily harder for me. Can i play wow without my 2 combat addons sure it just makes things different instead of numbers for cooldowns i have a shade that changes. Instead of knowing how the dps is doing i just kill and do what im supposed to in ignorance of how everyone is contributing to a group.

I believe wow can be played well with or without any addons. All an addon does is represent the same data presented by the game in a different way. Instead of showing the cooldown timer as numbers its a shaded clock on buttons. Instead of debuffs being on the mob you have a debuff timer off to the side. Instead of having a raid leader looking for an add to spawn you have a addon that states that it spawned. Getting rid of DBM would make raiding harder until raid leaders lost their pride in dps etc and used their eyes to do what DBM does. ALso getting rid of things such as Decursive again and addons that play for you by represnting what moves to use would make the game harder for incompetent people. I dont think it would make it harder for me because i dont have to use those addons to prop myself up.

Flask flipping and pet selling. Jeri update

I have an alchemist that could make potions. i have realized that herb prices being variable that im no good at purchasing herbs to make profit from flask. So what do i do I start buying flask generally during the weekend supply is high and demand is low i can purchase flask between 25-30g I then wait until tuesday raid day to resale my flask for profits anywhere from 5-10g per flask. This is a steady income and i cant complain about the profit margins.

Another bussiness adventure that i started was selling vendor pets. Not the ones that people can get in dalarn, I am selling the ones that can be purchased from stromspire in netherstorm. THe most expensive pet is 40g each however most pets sell for 10-100g on AH with profits being 10g- 60g per pet depending on which one. I have purchased 4 of each pet to place on the AH. I hope to update you when they all sell they dont sell fast but its all profit.

I did my daily random with jeri last night the second one i've had to do without my cousin. He is spending more time with the wifey which i understand so i wont give him crap about it. It seems like i was having an off night tanking i couldn't keep divine plea up and kept butchering my rotation. To make things even worse i had a disc priest which are great healers but for a class that needs mana regeneration through heals it can starve your mana quickly. Also i had a moonkin that pulled good dps however he would be aoeing before i even laid down concecration he pulled aggro a few times. The rest of the dps were unremarkable probably still learning their skills the DK did 500 dps and a warrior was right under me with 900 dps. IT was a good run with no wipes it just felt like i was off and not playing my best. Im currently 1/4 th a level away from lvl 72 and I can not wait to finish Tundra and possibly skip dragonblight. On an off topic there is a huge benifit to faction change. Jeri has every flight path in Northrend even though he has only visited Borean tundra. This makes travel very easy and im grateful since i dont have cold weather flying.

Progression, gold making update

Jeri is progressing nicely currently level 71.5 I am around 50% done with the tundra quest and starting to tire of its landscape and of doing the same quest for a 3rd time. I have ran my daily dungeon almost every day giving me around 10 badges to use when im 80 i hope to have enough badges to buy 2 peices of teir gear. The LFD daily reward is a good incentive for leveling players because it will give access to some of the better gear allowing for quicker entrance into heroics and raids. Im glad blizzard added feature to the LFD tool because if they hadn't getting in any raid would be practicly impossible for me.

I recently broke 25k gold which was my next goal after i broke the 10k barrier. My income has slowed down possibly because more of my play time is focused on leveling as opposed to AH whorring. I actually would be at higher than 25k gold but invested in buying titanium powder and titanium ore so that my cousin could get more gem cuts. The investment has paid off i maid back my 5k gold and still have 5 or so epic gems that sell at 200g each to sell. I have ran out of stock on my belt buckles, titanium rods, and earth seige gems. So ill need to begin restocking these also i need to begin collecting netherweave the bag market has rebound a bit and bags are selling between 13-16g. I also plan to invest in mats for crusader and fiery enchants they sell steadily and can bring me a few grand a week. Speaking on enchants running dungeons has earned me quite a collection of dust im begging to think about paying for some weapon enchant scrolls for lvl 80 to be crafted. Ill share more about this if i do decide to do this I may not though and save the mats to enchant Jeris' gear when he needs it.

I also have discovered a new method to make a little extra gold for a small investment. Im sure many of my readers already do this or know people that do. Buy cooldowns from other players I have been paying 75g + mats for alchemist to transmute gems. The cost per gem is roughy 95g when i get these cut i turn around and can sell them for 60-100g profit. ALso keep an eye on the raw epic gems i need to set snatch up to begin snatching epic gems when they fall below a certain price i belive 30g profit per cut gem would be a good start. Sometimes the alchemist will sell me the procs for 75g each which further enhances the profit im making.

Goals for next week

craft 20 belt buckles
craft 20 titanium rods
craft20 earth seige meta gems( explore alternate cuts to diversify instead of one cut)
purchase and bolt netherweave with the intent of raising bag prices and saving bag space.
stock up on crusader and fiery weapon mats need to make at least 5-10 of each.

Sorry for the lack of post. This is my first week back in school. The rush of a new semester and trying to get ready to graduate takes alot of time. i have been doing alot of studying for a certification test i need to take to qualify for graduation. I have to pass the Net+ cert. test which i hear is easy. Since i hate test i got a book to help me prepare; the book is titled Exam Cram: comptia network+ 3rd edition. It is a great book that is helping me remember network concepts fromm over a year ago. In fact i just reviewed IP adressing which is a real pain. After passing this test and finishing the semester ill have my associates in computer networking. Maybe then ill be able to find a job in t he computer feild.

Being back in school means i miss spending time with my family. so I have been using my free time to recoupe the lost time with them instead of playing wow. I hope to give good post while still in school but if they aren't quality or suffer its because im taking care of the important matters. Hope that this doesnt affect my readers to much i can do post from work but they may not be gold related due to lack of access to wow information.

Jeri transfer gold.

Recently i transfered Jeri to horde. He brought tons of wool and some good gem purchases and buying 14 flask. i sold all of these items for a total profit of 10g per item. In my previous post you can see the amount of stuff that was sold.

After settling that and cleaning my bank out. Me and my cousins toon dualBOA left for our leveling trek in borean tundra. Whats nice about this is all my quest for alliance got reset so i could do all the warsong hold quest. We ran our daily dungeon i tanked a UK it went well no real problems excepts some low dps. Me and my cousins toon were top dps both at 29% each.

The next day we finished up the annoying mist quest. the phasing there causes my processor hell. Next we began doing colderra quest so that we could do the nexus. While questing we qued both as dps so we could quest while waiting for que. The pic above shows the damage our tank was a little shoddy but he was 10 years old so he did good for his age. I gave him advice of getting duo spec so he could have frost spec and blood then i gave him my blogs address.

The second dungeon sucked because we spent an hour in the instance most of it waiting on new members to reach the end. Wish these dungeons were smaller similar to Draktherun keep etc. Me and my cousin were top dps i was pulling 1200 in greens and blues. My cousin was right below me we were owning and not pulling aggro. Which meant our young tank knew his class just didnt have the best spec. However he left and i took over tanking. I learned some new moves to avoid damage on the final boss. When hes undead im a little confused on how to avoid the damage.

So far Jeri Has been fun but im going to have to slow down my playing and posting. I know its sad but school is in its final semester and i need to finish my Net+ exam. Then ill have graduated with an AA in computer networking and have 1 cert. During it i have had 4.0 in all my technical classes only doing bad in academic classes english comp is my fail. Ill continue next semester for my Bachelors that means taking maths and sciences which is going to be rough.

Introducing Jeri My Paladin

Introducing my paladin Jeri. He was my first level 60 and never made it to 70 until yesterday. The reason he never made it to seventy was a faction switch to play with family. That and I did not enjoy healing in BC and couldn't get into leveling him. Now he is ready for his transformation into a Blood Elf Paladin and unleash his inner horde. After a fast trek from 64 to 70 Jeri is ready to embark on a new journey to 80. He will be accompanied by his warrior companion that was with him on the original quest to 60. Jeri will also bring along needed war supplies to aid in raising gold for the hordes coffers. He collected gems, enchant scrolls, and tons of wool that will aid in raising a decent amount of gold for the cause.

To prepare for the arrival of my new tanking character I crafted the full level 70 cobalt tanking set. I also added borean leather armour kits to aid in making the gear as good as it could be for the cheap. Me and my cousin plan to do at least the daily dungeon and quest grind up to 80 he is playing a BoA geared Arms warrior. Teamed with my paladin the plan is to aoe grind quest and if needed ill Duo spec for questing parts as Retribution to speed up the quest grind. Hopefully we will have a fun and story filled journey to 80.

Horde here i come.

So after having a few weeks as alliance i got a gift from my cousin. He decided to go ahead and pay for my alliance paladins race change and transfer. Im not sure why he decided to but im happy either way. I think his main reason was he couldn't deal with playing on our old alliance server and would rather level with me on horde.

Since the move has moved forward a few months i only have around 700g to invest into items to transfer. I am thinking of going and purchasing at least 5 each of the alliance only pets. Then look at the frost lotus market to see if their prices are significantly lower than my current main server. Other items of interest are mid level herbs, meat for cooking, ore, bars, and gems. My goal is to only purchase items that will provide a significant profit around 2-5g on investment more is always welcome.

I am looking forward to the move it will give me an oppourtunity to get dual spec on my pally. Ill also be able to deck him out in full cobalt armour once he hits 70 so that his tanking set is ok. I also get to level with my cousin which i haven't done in since pre-bc where he tanked and i heald. Which is a funny point because the pally im moving to my horde server is the same pally that i heald his original warrior with. Leveling will be different this time ill be tanking and he will be Dps on his arms warrior which means it wont be a full role reversal for us.

Since my focus for the next few weeks is going to be on leveling i think im going to use it as a way add a different dynamic to my blog. The blog will always stay a gold focused blog but i want to include some stuff about leveling my paladin. So once he hits 70 and begins the final 10 level grind to 80 i hope i can come up with fun entertaining post about the leveling experience. Yes this will include gripes about stupid players in LFG. It will also have post about great runs or epic fights that should have been wipes. I may even post a small post about usefull addons to have for 5 mans. After reaching level 80 these post will start to be about gearing up through heroics etc. I hope that my readers will enjoy these post and i hope that it will add a new dynamic to my blog.
