An alchemist gold mine

Alchemy is my steady income i can count on at least 200g from epic gems a day. I currently don't make pots unless i find good deals on frost lotus which never happens. Recently i discovered a new gold mine for an alchemist. Earth seige Diamond transmute it take 1 eternal fire 1 dark jade and 1 huge citrine. To make 20 on my server runs around 560g 200 for 20 darkjade 340 for the eternal fire and around 20g for huge citrine. I'm transmute spec so there is a chance ill make more per batch than the mats i have. You can sell these raw or as cuts which is what I'm doing. i get them cut into Austere Earthsiege Diamonds 32 stam. 2% armour increase meta gem. These sell for around 60 each so for an investment of 542g i make around 1200g or a total profit of 668g.

Check it out you could make a good bit of gold to top the mounds of gold sitting in your bank.

  1. nice tip :) something i tryed doing but its unfortunatly not as profitable on my realm.

seeing as your transmute spec like me you may want to look into the other items you can transmute with out a cooldown. ive found transmuting saronite into titanium to be profitable.

Also even transmuting Arcanite bar's to make the blacksmithing rod's.

  2. Something i've been selling constantly since before patch 3.2, this and Skyflare Diamond are good sellers, with skyflare being the better seller. Lately though the prices on earthsiege diamonds plummeted on my server from a steady 34-40g range to 25-32g.

  3. Liam the titanium market on my server crashed to around 13g each. Saronite bars still sell for 30g or more per stack making it un profitable imo. I have not looked into the arcanite transmute, and skyflare diamonds. One reason my stuff is selling so high is my gems are being cut as opposed to raw.

  4. Remember to treat the gem cutting as a separate step. The transmute gives you a raw gem. On my server, the raw Earthsieges almost always go for less than the eternals. When that's the case, I don't transmute (mastery is in flasks), and just buy the cheap raw gems off the AH and cut them. If you do this regularly, set your buy price high enough to give you a few days of buffer stock so you can buy low and avoid price spikes with your mats.

I'm continually surprised how many people sell raw gems for less than the cut vendor price. Snatching those up supplements icy prisms/the saronite shuffle quite nicely.

  5. i DONT REALY TREAT MY GEM CUTTING AS SEPERATE WHY I HAVE A COUSIN THAT CUST THEM FOR FRE. i TIP HIM AROUND 1K G A MONTH JUST BECAUSE IM NICE. Sorry caps got stuck.

  6. I mean treat it as separate because you might be able to get the uncut earthsieges for cheaper just off of the AH so YOUR COUSIN COULD CUT THEM. ;-)

Transmute should compare eternals to raw (plus the probability of getting extras which I think is 10%).
